Bay City Computers — Attraction in Bay City

Gary has not only been a neighbor, but has built and updated all of our computer systems. He is always eager to find the problem, like it is a puzzle and he is determined to solve it. I was concerned when he moved business about 30 min. south of us, but continued to provide the great and timely service, we were accustomed to, he continued to help us in getting the best out of our units. Both Gary and Nancy, have always been polite, resourceful, willing to go that extra mile for the customer. Sadly there will now be too many miles, for them to continue being the best place in the Central Valley, for fixing computers. This past week, I noticed my laptop getting very hot in one corner. I called and discussed it with Nancy. We made arrangements to get the unit to her so she could work on it at the shop the next day. Being it is several years old, a new one, was needed. She had one for me, the next day. She reloaded all my history, pictures, files and etc. and had it in my hands within a day and half. I am needing a few things tweaked, so she will be fine tuning my preferences, later this week on days that I will not need it. Like I said they go the extra mile, for customers that truly understand that things take time, currently parts are hard to get, and cost have gone thru the roof. Gary, the owner of Bay City Computers, saved my 8~ year old desktop from a devastating end. My computer means a lot to me, it was the first thing I purchased with hard-earned money when I got sober, and when my power supply went out and started smoking I thought it was over.

One call to Bay City Computers and I had all of my fears erased. Gary was confident he could fix it, urging me to bring it in (even though I couldn’t until he was nearly closed) as he had a power supply in stock. I did so, and boy howdy am I glad I did.

When I came back to get it, less than 12 hours later, it was fixed, clean, and completely back to normal. I chose to upgrade my hard drive after seeing my computers benchmark ranking, so he invited me to sit down while he moved my files (+ installed Windows 11!) and we chatted for about an hour. After all of that, I chose to upgrade my processor because he deserves the business and I want my computer to last for a long time.
