The Burlap Sack Boutique — Attraction in Bay City

I just got back in from offshore and my wife and I decided to stop in the store on the way back to Rockport and we both really love the store especially my wife but. We unfortunately we were not greeted by the employees we were not asked if we needed any assistance finding anything. My wife and I felt uncomfortable because the only thing they did do was follow us. The kind of made me feel like they thought we were going to steal something now I work offshore and make extremely good money would have loved to have bought her a gift but did not feel in the store other than that it was a beautiful store and would hopefully one day...

My wife and I were just cutting through town heading back to Pearland. We saw the shop and decided to go inside. From the minute we walked up we felt welcomed. I read some of the other comments about feeling unwelcome and followed. We didn't have that experience. Debbie was so nice and helpful. My wife is planning to go back with her girlfriends. They had some of the coolest cloths. My wife got shoes because her other two thousand pair are not enough. If I had one thing I would change. I would add a LSU/Saints sitting area for the men. Searched and searched for a particular ring for my wife. Every store I called was sold out (with no restocking on the horizon). I called a few stores that I found online that said they had the ring, only to find out that they did not! Found the Burlap Sack that was advertising the ring, called and they did indeed have it! The lady I spoke to informed me that she would mail it as soon as she saw that the transaction was completed. The ring arrived very nicely packed and my wife loved it!
