CTown Supermarkets — Attraction in Bayonne

The place is convenient to me but the guy who works there bold guy seems to always look at my husband everytime he goes there and one time he decided to grab the shopping bad and open it to see inside my husband was confused and upset because he felt embarrassed like why would you do that and he gave him no reason to do that , first of all! We are not that type of ppl we are educated and hard working family who does not need to be stealing anything!! When my husband came back home I was frustrated when he told me that. He embarrassed him you don't do that . I had stop going because of that I preferred to spend my money someone else . Another thing they over charge the meat and a lot of things and be careful with the meat and see food is not fresh a lot of vegetables are bad and expired always check...

Staff is super nice including owner, store is very clean and professional anytime I'm there. I can understand paying a little more for convenience since I'm uptown, but I'm tired of coming home with expired (and sometimes moldy) produce even though I try to look it up and down before I buy. That, and the reason I'm writing this review which was (basically solid) heavy cream that was clearly no good. I never write reviews but am hoping to see improvement soon. I love C-Town, have shopped there since I was a young kid, but am really hesitant of going there for anything that can spoil easily. Not enough attention given there. My fellow Bayonne residents please please STOP going to this c-town ASAP. Not only are their prices are outrageously high but they are rude and lack professionalism. The Bald guy as many mentioned on their reviews is nasty, he stalks and follows people around the store making people feel uncomfortable while shopping and he actually excuses people of shoplifting when they didn’t . This c-town doesn’t appreciates loyalty and I will no longer support this over priced, unfriendly place.
