I hiked in from the bridle trail. It was like heaven, not too crowded and everyone was having a great time. Each picnic group was playing music and there were kids running around having fun. Read moreVery nice and clean picnic area with a pavilion, a swing set, and bathroom. There are places to grill, and you can walk down to the viaduct to get a nice view of the water flowing freely. It is illegal to swim in though because of dangerous currents and what not. Young kids should be supervised and I wouldn't recommend they go to the viaduct because the cliff is very high up and there are not fences or anything to stop you from rolling off.
