Very nice and clean picnic area with a pavilion, a swing set, and bathroom. There are places to grill, and you can walk down to the viaduct to get a nice view of the water flowing freely. It is illegal to swim in though because of dangerous currents and what not. Young kids should be supervised and I wouldn't recommend they go to the viaduct because the cliff is very high up and there are not fences or anything to stop you from rolling off. Altogether a great spot though!

From the parking lot, if you take the hiking trail down to the creek, it’s not your everyday trail. Comes with a lot of elevation difference making it quite difficult depending on the trail conditions and weather. If you head the opposite direction there appears to be tornado damage from the one that hit this area in the fall of 24’. It’s a beautiful thing to see the power of Mother Nature and can be a humbling experience for anyone looking at the scene

Egbert Picnic Area and the viaduct below make for a more exhilarating hiking experience than many of the Cleveland nature parks. If you're looking for something more thrilling, love water, or a bit of danger then this is the place to be. The picnic area above is also quite nice to have a meal under big trees with a view of the river below.

I hiked in from the bridle trail. It was like heaven, not too crowded and everyone was having a great time. Each picnic group was playing music and there were kids running around having fun. There was a large group bbq ing what looked like an entire buffet of delicious smelling food. I definitely also smelled Marijuana burning somewhere. Everyone was so chill and friendly. Only gave 4 stars because the drinking fountain was off due to covid and I really needed to fill...
