Worst post office ever. Just echoing everything here already. Terrible delivery service. I use their informed delivery feature where you can authorize leaving a package beforehand. I work a typical 9 to 5 an hour away so I can't pick up anything unless it's an off day. They WILL NOT leave the package as instructed. Fed Ex and UPS- no problem. So my 2day Amazon deliveries I usually can't get til the 4th or 5th day. Why? Because their redelivery requests don't work either. I rushed there one day and forgot my license but had bills with me and my govt id. They didn't care, smiled in my face and said they were closing in 5 mins. So If you get RX via mail, you'll probably die -had my W-2s slid under my door by another resident because they put it in the wrong mail box.
There's one postal associate in particular that's an absolute drudge. I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry. If someone is having a bad day I give them the benefit of doubt. This woman has been like this for years. She's like the troll that you have to pay to cross the bridge. I will let the person behind me cut in line just so I get another associate, so u don't have to encounter her negativity. If you're reading this and you've been there then you know who.
I'm only giving this place 1 star because I can't give it a negative 1. This place has no absolute value.
Just want to add, Andrew Koss I do not know what you're smoking. When have you ever gone somewhere and paid for something, then never received it. If receiving what you paid for is your idea privilege you have other issues to attend to.
As of today 7/10 FedEx passed my package to these guys and once again. An attempt was not made to even deliver the package to my door. POS people. Will be talking to postal inspectors office of...
Read moreI typically go to the Bedford post office several times a week and have been for years. The people working at the Bedford branch have done a really good job of dealing with the closure of other post offices in the area, especially Maple. The amount of additional traffic when that branch closed was a challenge and they have handled it well. I notice that most of the interactions between customers and employees are pleasant and quickly done. There are long lines at times, because there are lines everywhere! This is the new reality. Someone from the back will ask people if they can help or if they need to wait for a clerk. The clerks try to get people through the lines as quickly as possible and as politely as possible. I am shocked by the amount of negative reviews I see. That is not the experience I have when I am there. The clerks are very nice and efficient. They greet me by name and get my business done very quickly. At times, they have had to deal with rude people yelling at them about circumstances that are not in their control. They don't yell back, but try to deescalate the situation. I just shake my head at these crazy people. They are ones who seem to be leaving all these...
Read moreNOT SAFE!!! I mailed 2 checks at the post office to pay taxes. Neither arrived at their destination and then there were a bunch of fraud attempts on my bank account. Had to open a new checking account. Now it's been over two weeks since I did that, so I called the bank to ask when my debit card was coming. They said it has been activated!!! This can not all be coincidental - the common denominator is the Bedford post office. Outgoing checks stolen and misused, AND incoming debit card stolen and activated! I know it wasn't taken out of my mailbox because I get informed delivery emails daily, and it did not show up as on the way. Not the carrier's fault, I took the checks to the debit card apparently never got to him. There is a real problem at this post office. Reported to Postal Inspection Service, who of course can not be bothered to contact me. I will now be forced to pay for a PO box in another city and take all outgoing mail there, because this can not be allowed to continue. I also had a credit card go missing in transit a while back and thought it was a fluke, but now I...
