La Diosa de los Moles Spices — Restaurant in Bell Gardens

Not the best Mother’s Day gift. My husband had been wanting to take me here for a while and we drove all the way from Wildomar to try this place out for Mother’s Day. The food was very disappointing I’m sorry but the mole (mancha manteles) had no taste and wasn’t what I expected for this place to be called this. The service was good the server was polite and attentive but the food was disappointing. Not to mention how hot this place has no ac!! all I wanted to do was get out of there, also having to fight with a flies the whole time we were there was not the Mother’s Day I expected. I think there is room for improvement specially with the pricing there can definitely work on some ventilation or fans to make the visit a bit more...

Food was good and service was great. The setting is small and simple, but cozy. The waitress was attentive and friendly. We ordered the enchiladas de mole oaxaceño, an order of quesabirrias and an order of cochinita pibil. The enchiladas were really good. I’ve read reviews stating that they’re better than Guelaguetza, but if you’re coming to compare, I’d say to throttle your expectations. Not disappointing by any stretch, but I wouldn’t agree with that statement. The quesabirria were delicious and the cochinita pibil was ok. Wow! I really didn't know where my best friend was taking me out to eat. We walked in and boy was it tiny as the food came out. It left me speechless and when I tasted it I couldn't get over it.
