Joia Skin — Attraction in Belle Isle

Would not recommend. Unprofessional. Backstory: After weeks of searching for a good reputable esthetician in Orlando I found Erika. I was excited about the services I received the first time around. However things quickly took a turn. I asked Erika if I could make an appointment to come in person to pick up a moisturizer. She sent me an appointment time slot and I confirmed. Erika never showed to that appointment. Later that day she said she missed our appointment because she was with another client and agreed to mail me a moisturizer. Once I received the product and read the ingredient label I discovered it had grapefruit in it (an allergen we had previously discussed). I then had to make another appointment with her to exchange the moisturizer, which she was 10 minutes late for. Later on I asked her to ship me $290 worth of product. I never received the product. After approximately 2 weeks of waiting around to see if the package would arrive and traveling to 2 separate USPS locations, there was still no sign of the package. I asked Erika if I could get a refund for the products I ordered, but never received or if she would ship out another set of them. She said she would not because she would not be compensated for doing so. After giving her a full week to determine next steps concerning a refund she came back with no solutions. I informed her that I wanted to cancel my appointment 24 hr in advance. I understand that she has cancellation policies in place that include a 48 warning before canceling. I asked if instead of getting a refund for the products I ordered but never received, if she would simply waive the cancellation fee. She rejected that. After which I told her that I would not continuing with her services she charged my card the cancellation fee with the card kept on file. If you’re looking for an amazing esthetician and good looking skin, look no further. Ericka is a very knowledgeable and passionate esthetician who will exceed your expectations and take the time to listen to you and your needs. When I first met Ericka I felt like I was sitting down having a chat with a friend. She took the time to get to know me, my skin care needs, and what results I was looking for. I felt so cared for and comfortable and had beautiful glowing skin after just one facial. Also the table in her studio is SO COMFY and relaxing.

I was hesitant to spend money on medical grade skin care due to having hundreds of products at home, but Ericka sent me home with samples of a full regimen at home and within 2 weeks I was purchasing full sized products. I was able to reach out to Ericka and she helped answer any of my questions and recommend the best products for my skin type.

Overall, you can really tell Ericka loves what she does and wants you to be happy with your results. I would recommend her to all my family...
