My son and I went in for lunch around 1pm. My first impression was of a clean, simple, and cozy neighborhood restaurant, a small place to dine in or get a take out. There was a TV showing a Korean girl group, but the volume was off, so we couldn't hear anything. We ordered two lunch specials that were $10 each: a cheeseburger combo and a Kori chicken combo. My meal came with a hamburger, fries, and a can of soda. My son ordered the Kori chicken with honey garlic sauce, which also included fries and soda. The hamburger and the patty were quite large—I didn't expect such a generous burger for $10. And I loved the French fries; they were thick yet still very crispy. My son enjoyed his Kori chicken. But he also agreed that fries were exceptional. “These ain’t no ordinary fries!” I also ordered an original tteok-bokki to go, which was sweet and spicy, love the fishcakes in it.
