Bellevue Knights Event Center — Attraction in Bellevue

I got engaged July 2021, very next day my fiancé and I booked this venue. I knew I wanted to use this hall for my reception so i didn't bother looking at other places. I had also been here before and thought that It was pretty, open and perfect for our needs. About October 2021 or so management changed, and I was told that half of our deposit was not accounted for and paperwork had not been signed, they also didn’t know the date of the wedding. They did take care of us and our date was secured, and we signed paperwork, as for the money situation I was told they would “take our word for it and take it as a wash”. 6 months before the wedding I wanted to measure the tables to make sure the ones I borrowed from a friend would work and look the way I wanted them to on the tables they provide. When I asked him this, he looked at me and asked it I was “bridezilla”. . . I laughed it off and said I just wanted to double check and make sure they would work instead of finding out the day before the wedding. Fast forward again I called 3 months before our wedding to ask if we could have the rehearsal dinner there, he was apprehensive and told me yet again that they were losing money with our wedding. I asked him if he wanted us to pay for the venue so that we could set up the night before and he said yes. I paid extra so that we would have the rehearsal dinner here. 2 days before the wedding we finalized everything, asked if he received our check for the rehearsal dinner, he said he did, we told him dinner for rehearsal would be delivered around 5:30 and cake for wedding day would be delivered at 6:15 (they held it in the fridge for us overnight) he looked at us and said "yes got it all down". Rehearsal dinner day: Dinner was delivered promptly at 5:30, we were short two spoons so my bridesmaids asked if we could barrow 2 …..The man claimed we did not inform him of dinner...... , at this point I was annoyed and becoming the bridzilla he wanted me to be, I did go off on him because we had just finalized 2 days prior and he was informed and accepted the check with extra money for the rehearsal DINNER. With all that being said our wedding day was gorgeous, beautiful and better than I could have imagined, but I honestly would not want to work with the man I worked with on this EVER again. My husband and I had our wedding reception here in October. The staff here was incredible to work with! Lynn was so responsive to all of my questions and made the planning process so easy. The wedding day went so smooth because everyone here does such an amazing job! The bar was well staffed and managed, and the buffet line was quick and easy for our guests. The food was fantastic too! We received so many compliments on how good the food was. I highly recommend the Bellevue Knights Event Center for your wedding...

We had our wedding reception there and the gentleman who ran the place was very difficult to work with. Very stern in his ways. Food was decent, but probably would have had it catered in hind sight. The place was good but the layout was a little funky and until we saw our pictures didn't realize how many blind spots there were where people couldn't see.
