I never thought I'd have to say this about any Michaels store but unfortunately today has turned into that day. I have never had a bad or even remotely negative experience in a Michaels store ever. Until my experience this evening. The older man (probably in his 60s or early 70s) working treated me like an idiot when I tried to tell him there was no barcode or any other sort of numbers on the packaging to identify an item I was wanting to purchase but had questions about before buying. He cuts me off and says "yes there are of course there are numbers on it your just have to look for them".. Now mind you I had looked over the item several times while trying to compare it to another of the same item with slightly different boxing, so I was trying to figure out what difference (if any) there was since they were the same price , same name but slightly different images on the both boxes. I also felt like I was being profiled for having literally $80-$90 worth of merchandise on my cart which is crazy especially considering I've dropped $200-$300 at a time in this very location on a number of times. The Female manager who is now here was not much better. She was extremely rude, looked at me with a sour look on her face and the last couple items I had that she scanned, were Rudely tossed in my direction almost in disgust. Idk. She was rude AF, and this will be the last time I spend my money in this location especially after the final interaction once I had paid for my things. I honestly don't know if I'll even continue shopping with Michael's. I feel like whomever has been hiring the people to keep things running smoothly really needs to come secret shop the location and experience it for themselves. I'm just glad I started recording the interaction as soon as I started sensing some sort of attitude or weirdness from the old guy. On the positive side there was a younger kid working who was nothing but polite, nice and welcoming so if nothing else I do appreciate him and his customer service especially considering the other two probably have him beat 4 to 5 times in years of experience, regardless of that he was still the star that shines in this...
Read moreI couldnât wait to review this Michaels craft store location, after the awful experience I had at the Juanita location on 10/21/2023. Ok, so yesterday morning, I called the store just as it was opening, I talked to Robin regarding three items I wanted for a couple simple holiday craft for my 5 grandchildren. She confirmed she had the items however the system doesnât let you buy the last one quantity of any item, she explained, told me how to go online and and place my order for a in-store pick up. She told me she would hold the last ones with my order for purchase. Fast forward to my pick up and my second purchase of the day that evening. I was met with Morgan she helped me find the big jugs of acrylic paints I needed to paint all the âunfinishedâ wood items I bought for the littles. After I got the paint and brushes , she helped me pick up my online order. I took my paints, brushes and the last couple items I need to buy and was helped with Nicky. (I hope I got everyone name spelled correctly) I had a great experience all three times with all three employees. They were all very helpful, informative and gave suggestions regarding the coming projects. This is now my âhomeâ go to store, itâs worth a extra time and miles, to be treated so kindly. I highly recommend this location and their staff, 5 stars. Thank you guys for taking care of me and Iâll be back to buy the sealer after the kids are finished painting their project. No pictures, but will upload some once they are...
Read moreAbsolutely bad service! I was so disappointed visiting this store for the first time today April 9th 2025 and it is going to be my last! I was so desperately looking everywhere to buy trifold project board for my sonâs presentation following day. I looked for stores in Bellevue and Redmond roaming over an hour. My spouse called in this store to check if they have and they confirmed they have it. I rushed from Walgreens Bellevue to this store at Crossroads 5min before store closing. Store manager did not allow me in at all, simply sighing they are closed. There was a couple inside who cane out exact 9pm thatâs when sliding doors opened. I went in requesting to grab the board, explaining they made me wait outside until it passed 9pm and the store manager simply mentioned we were closed. I told that it was not fair to not allow a customer who made it 5min before store closed but she showed not courtesy! I felt so bad! The two other persons working in the store watched helplessly!
Shouldnât a customer be allowed in 5 min before closing? I understand people may be tired etc. but small courtesy would have made huge...
