Joy Box Restaurant — Restaurant in Bellevue

I would personally like to meet with the owner to discuss my recent visit. I came in and ordered a carry out Mongolian Beef to take back to work for lunch. I give fair and honest reviews. I am 55 years old and have been eating in restaurants and cooking at home for decades, and I used to be a former Chef. I have NEVER came across a more disgusting and unedible quality of beef in my whole entire life from any supermarket or restaurant and I have lived in a number of different countries, mainly the U.S. This was not choice, or even select grade, this had to be utility grade or below. I paid over $17.00 for basically rubber. I have had higher quality beef from a can by far. This must never be served again, how could you do this it was sick. You have a extremely serious problem here. But I want to help you find a simple solution. I am willing to bring in basic choice and select cuts of sirloin that I will pay for myself and we can go over a number of recipes, the quality of the beef is all that really matters, the vegetables, sauce, etc can vary. I would have brought this back immediately but was at work. Please place a owner response in the comments if you really care and want the help you need. One of the best lunches I’ve had while on my lunch break from work. Calm environment and such delicious food!! My friend from work agreed I was the quietest I have ever been and it was because I was enjoying my food so much! I’ve tried A LOT of places similar in Bellevue and this place is by far my favorite and the best! So glad our other work friend kept ordering to go from them. I’m already day dreaming about ordering myself lunch on Monday. Very kind staff. We dined in and had a to go and they asked if I wanted it with our order or to wait until we had been eating for a while so it was fresher. I had an amazing experience at Joybox! I originally planned to get takeout, but after seeing how delicious the food looked, I decided to dine in instead—and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly grilled chicken with a rich, flavorful sauce, fresh salad, and crispy, golden-brown chicken dumplings. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the portions were very generous!
