We are giving this place two months before it closes. It's dirty, the service is non-existent, and the waitresses are as lazy as can be, all glued to their iPhones. We arrived at 8 PM last night, a Thursday June 13, 2024. The place was quite empty, but there was no one at the entrance to seat us. Meanwhile, all the waitresses were loudly chatting and laughing at the order station, completely ignoring us (we were 3 couples) and not making any eye contact. At least seven tables were dirty with leftover food and drinks. Out of the 10 staff members, only three were working hard: the two bartenders and a chubby Hispanic waitress who was running around trying to manage everything on her own (she wasn't the lead person that night). The lead girl was ineffective because the other tall waitresses in black shirts completely disregarded her requests. We waited 10 minutes before one of us approached a waitress at the order station in the back of the restaurant. They insisted we couldn't sit at a certain table, despite other people being there. The nice chubby waitress tried to seat us in another part of the restaurant, but it was also filthy from what looked like a party that had left half an hour earlier. Here are some corrective actions for the owners: 1) Hire a competent evening manager. 2) Fire everyone who was on the night shift yesterday, except for the chubby waitress and the two bartenders. They were the only ones operating the entire restaurant and even cleaning tables themselves. 3) Conduct thorough research before hiring tall pretty girls who do nothing but hang around the waitresses' station. The correction action is not to replace only the lead person of last night. It is to send home everyone who was on the service last night. All but 3. We've been to this restaurant many times before and appreciate the good pizzas and the excellent tiramisu. However, without these changes, the place will likely close within two months. Of course, we left for another restaurant after 15 minutes.

- horrible service - We came here with our friends, and the tables were missing a set of plates and glasses, and our server (a short Mexican lady) didn't even notice it until we asked her to provide it. The food was alright, but the pizza wasn't amazing. I remember it being better before, but now it's just so so... It also has two huge burnt parts on our pizza that are not edible. The pasta we got was fine, but it was just ordinary pasta.. We rarely see our server during the whole meal, and in the end she brought us a box after we asked for it and left without bringing us the bill. It took another 10-15 minutes for us to get her attention. She split the bills for us, but we asked for 3 separate checks when she only did 2. Either way, for mine I didn't want to use my pizza reward in the end but she said she cant unapply it.. it's fine it is what it is, but I asked her to add my friend's amount to my loyalty account, she said she did but it wasn't. I basically missed 70 points because she doesn't understand what I was saying. All of my friends felt the service was below acceptable and we tipped accordingly. I'm not sure if she's still in training but I felt communication was very difficult with her, and she seems confused most of the time .. Due to the disappointment in service and food, we are unlikely to be here in the future. It's a shame because everything we've experienced at the restaurant before was so much better than what we had today.

Tutta Bella has been a renowned brand in Seattle for quite some time, and witnessing their expansion, particularly with the opening of multiple stores on the eastside, was truly gratifying. This was my first visit to the Bellevue location since I've only been to the Seattle locations. The restaurant was impressively spacious, with an interior that exuded charm and versatility, suitable for hosting various types of events. The event took place in a large room where we had the opportunity to learn about Tutta Bella, its history, and its vision of maintaining the high-quality standards expected of a Neapolitan certified pizza restaurant, as shared by the store manager. We tried some of the newly introduced Spring and Summer menu offerings, spanning starters, salads, pastas, pizzas, desserts, and beverages. Among the beverages, the Rosato Spritz and Paloma Italiana stood out, boasting a delightful balance of alcohol and sweetness. The tricolore salad with shrimp was outstanding, I think it can go well with any Italian dish. And true to Tutta Bella's reputation as a Neapolitan certified pizza restaurant, the Toscano Chicken pizza was very soft and flavorable. Desserts were also impressive, with the Bomboloni resembling a cream-filled donut, yet surpassing expectations with its flavorful cream filling. The Butterscotch Boudino was a standout, its unique butterscotch flavor complementing the meal perfectly.

This specific location has always been not the best, but we thought with the renovation and re-grand opening, things would be better. We were very excited to come back, but the whole experience was probably the most substandard we've had so far.

We were a party of 4. We knew what we wanted to order, so once we were settled in, we ordered our apps and entrees at the same time. Assuming that our apps would come out first and then our entrees. NOPE, they all came out at the same time! 3 apps, 2 pizzas, a pasta and a kids pasta (on a 4 top). We were rushing to move apps on to our plates and placing items on other plates to try and eliminate plates and fit everything on our table.

Our food was brought out by several different servers, but our server didn't check in with us once all the food arrived to make sure we had everything and to see if we needed anything else. It would have been great if she did, as one of our add ons didn't arrive. The whole time we ate, no one stopped to see if we needed anything. We were able to ask her for a coke refill in passing. Even when she dropped it off, she didn't ask if everything was ok.

As we started to clear more plates off, we were hoping the plates would be removed from our table, but no. We were only able to tell her about the item that didn't arrive when we asked for the check, because it was the only time she stopped to talk to us. We asked for a pizza box and a pasta to go box for our left overs and only got the pizza box. At this point we asked for the dessert menu, because she was bringing out a gelato for my son who ordered a kids meal (dessert was included), and asked for a to go pasta box again. She dropped off the box in passing, literally kind of just tossed it on to our table. She drops off the gelato and we ask for the dessert menu again. We've packed everything up and stacked all our empty plates, assuming someone would pick them up. No dessert menu still and no one to pick up our dirty plates. I've never been to a sit down restaurant where they didn't ask if they can take your plate once you were done eating. This was the case for everyone. I noticed that people around us were also having dessert with their empty plates still on their table (at least they got the dessert menu). The restaurant was full, but I don't think to the point where this should have been the kind of service given. We checked out, still tipped 18%, even with the bad service.

Food was good, and we may come back again. Just to see if this was a one off night and maybe they are still trying to figure things out. We went almost 2 yrs, without them, so I don't it will be too hard...

(Background info)

I'm gonna start with the staff. The person at the front desk was a little confused as to why we weren't with one of our parents, but when we explained how old we were, she was fine with it. We got seated pretty quickly. The waiter was very nice and patient with us, and understood that we were very thirsty, and every time he saw our cups were empty, he came over and expertly poured the water in, without any water splashing out. He was also very patient with me being a little confused when we were ordering our Margherita and pepperoni pizzas. My friend had ordered our both pizzas and the waiter thought they were just for him, so he asked me what I wanted. I was a little distracted, so I wasn't able to form a complete sentence, and he understood when I explained that I had spaced out, and then he realized that one of the two pizzas was for me and clarified. He was very kind and helpful. He and the other staff didn't seem to be judging us or anything.

Now I'm gonna talk about the food. When we ordered, it took about two and a half minutes to get both pizzas, so a short wait for some good food. Me and my friend split a Margherita pizza and pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni pizza was really good, not too greasy, not too cheezy, not too sauced, and perfectly cooked. (For me, that means a slight amount of not burnt but toasty if that makes sense) The Margherita pizza was very good, but I ended up eating most of it, as my friend felt like it was gonna make him sick, so I let him have most of my half of the pepperoni pizza. (He got one slice of the Margherita, and 5 of the pepperoni, and I got the opposite, 1 pepperoni and 5 Margherita) I would say, the food gets a 9/10, the only reason it's not a 10/10 is because perfection is a myth.

Last thing, is the overall... mood? Everyone there seemed very happy, and in a good mood. However, there was a group of five adults to our left, at a table that faces us . The group of five kept looking up and giving us this.. look of annoyance and anger. I don't know why, me and my friend thought maybe we were being loud, so we kept getting quieter and quieter, till the point that we were whispering, and still every time we spoke, they would give us that look. It was kinda... uncomfortable. Everything else was really nice.

I plan to go again....
