Don’t go to this place. I’m really over the way the owners of this place are treating people. The last half of the year they have been so rude and mean especially to women. The dress code policy is sexist and misogynistic . . It’s a place to workout, let women wear tank tops! It’s really hard when it’s the only rink in the city and they are pushing it. The owners feel the right to talk down and so rudely to adult women. Gals came up to me to tell me that Dave and his wife told them to “wear a shirt that fits” or being rude and mean. And let’s be CLEAR. “Inappropriate” looked like short sleeve shirt and baggy pants ( the shirt was cropped so it raised a little, 1/2 inch of midriff showing) a tank top but the women had a bigger chest so natural cleavage ( it’s a human body) another outfit was a high waisted yoga pants and a work out top that showed some midriff. Does it sound like there’s more skin showing in a yoga class? Or in a high school track team? YEPP. this isn’t about inappropriate. This is about policing women’s bodies, ! —-and finally they did call the cops on a young woman. And that was the last straw.
It’s just a stomach! You lived in one for 9 months!! Stop sexualizing women bodies when all they wanna do is skate and have...
Read moreGood prices for family fun but the rink is rough from damage and age. But we decided to try their summer day camp for the kids because they thought they would really enjoy it. But it ended up being an expensive way to make my kids miserable. Dave is a complete and utter douche and unfortunately has way to much contact with the children. The kids are forced to skate for 2 hours straight, no breaks allowed (unless they can buy their way out of it by paying for arcade games and snack bar). I dont know about everyone else but I cant skate for 2 hours straight without a break. My kids forgot a utensil one day and when they asked Dave for a plastic one they he told them no and to eat it with their hands (it was an enchilada). We confronted dave and he didnt just deny it but kept trying to lie his way out of every question by telling some completely irrelevant story. At that point I realized this man is a danger to children and pulled my kids right away. Dave also insulted my kids to their face for asking to go back inside during "outside time" because it was 105F and their outside time was a black top parking lot. That is negligent.

Read moreTook my kids here and I can't believe the prices!! First off we didn't realize family skate was from 5 to 8. Second how is it $8 with just admission and $15 if you need skates?? My kids got there @ 6:30 and still had to pay full admission. This place hasn't had an upgrade in decades!!! How do you charge that much?? Then my kids said the workers are rude. Apparently when they got to the window to pay they were shocked it was $30 for both of them. The comment the staff made was, "why are these kids looking at me like I'm speaking a foreign language?" RUDE!! Also they were looking at you like that because your facility it way to outdated for those kind of prices!!! Wish there was still Skate Dayz out west off of center. They were actually worth going to and you got what you paid for!! Come on Skate City.....step your game up and have a facility that is worth $15 for entry. Your workers need to learn to be more customer service friendly. Especially to kids on family night. I guess next time I'll need to attend with my kids to make sure they are treated properly by staff here. Super...
