Touch & Glow Skin Clinic — Attraction in Bellevue

I bought a $40 Groupon and booked a lash lift appointment with Rebecca for 8/23/24 at 1pm. The booking required me to give a credit card in case of a late cancelation or a no show. No problem, I get it. Not even an hour before my appointment, Rebecca asked me to come in at 4:15pm instead. I am disabled with a chronic pain disorder, and I was trying to get ready while struggling with pain. I was not monitoring my phone. I saw her text 45 minutes later and responded immediately. I told her that I was running late anyway and asked if she could squeeze me in at 1:30pm or 2pm, and if not, I'd be happy to come in at 4:15pm. She responded after 1pm and said that I did not respond, so someone else took the spot. She said that it was too late to reschedule or cancel my appointment.

I apologized and then explained that I have a disability that causes me chronic pain. When I wake up in the morning, I take pain meds in order to get up and move around. I need to take my meds with food, but I'm typically too nauseous when I wake up because of the pain. It's a catch-22, and I make afternoon appointments whenever possible in order to avoid canceling last minute. Very, very rarely am I in so much pain that I can't make an afternoon appointment.

She said that she would be charging me a late cancelation fee regardless. I requested what I thought was a reasonable accommodation for someone with my disability. I asked her if she would provide me with a one time waiver and let me reschedule my appointment. Her booking page showed that she had plenty of available appointments in the coming week, including two days with completely empty slots.

Rebecca stopped responding. I asked her if she was considering my request or ending the conversation. She still didn't respond. Three hours later, I told her that I was reporting her to the BBB for not following ADA law, as well as writing a detailed review. She threatened to sue me and said menacingly, "You picked the wrong person."

Moral of the story is this: don't expect a lick of sympathy from this person if you need to cancel last minute for any reason whatsoever, including being literally incapacitated. I don't care what the other reviewers say about how sweet she is; the true test of a business owner's character can only be seen in how they treat the...

Rebecca gave me a brow lamination/wax/tint and lash lift - I have had several lash lifts previously with a very excellent gal over in Ballard, but this was my first brow lamination.

I have no negative feedback at all! Rebecca is so easy to talk to, it felt like the time flew by (if you’ve ever gotten a lash lift, you’ll know this is important.

My lashes were perfect (I have short, straight lashes that are difficult to lift from what I’ve been told), and my brows were exactly what I wanted even though I only gave her a little direction on the shape.

I asked her about microneedling and she gave me a lot of good information and basically did a mini-consultation for my skin. I had recently gone to another place for a spray tan and while they were very good, I felt as if I was at a car lot when I mentioned I was interested in microneedling, with the nurse pushing me to buy sessions right away.

Rebecca did not make me feel that way at all, I doubt she would have even mentioned her other services if I hadn’t asked (which I did because I liked her so much!)

Lastly, the pricing on her services is super reasonable compared to other spas in Seattle/Bellevue/Renton. I’m looking forward to seeing her again, very excited to have found a new lash/brow specialist on ...

I had the Hydration and calming oatmeal facial and it was wonderful. I have concerns about dry flaky skin and this was really hydrating. Rebecca is very knowledgeable on skin and skin treatments and she answered my many questions of how to better care for my skin. The whole room and environment was very calming. Once in the room she asked me about what I wanted to focus on and what I've noticed with my own skin and asked about my products. My face, neck arms and hands got very well massaged. Every moment was relaxing. I told he to please get the white heads and black heads around my face and so that part was a little uncomfortable so just know that can be a little painful but Rebecca makes it as relaxing as possible.
