Visited here first time recently after seeing some good rating and Not a place where I would like to go again.Either we ordered the wrong items or there is something not right.
I was kinda fooled by good rating. When I came back home and looked back it seems most good reviews are from 8-9 months back.I am not sure what has changed in recent past but I fail to be as appreciative of their food taste & freshness.
They have a Very beautiful ambiance,Staff is good but food not so nice.
We ordered A veg entree platter,Amritsari kulcha plate,Litti Chokha,Aloo paratha,Tandoori Paneer ,Butter milk & Gulab Jamun -out of all these I can just reccommend the Aloo paratha tiny bit.
Litti Chokha (Which I have had many times in India too) could have been nice but did not just seem fresh at all.It really seemed that it was just pulled out of fridge and heated (Frozen Litti)
Veg entree plate was very average,Nothing great about it.The bread (Naan) was really not upto standard.
Amritsari kulcha which came with chole and pickle etc - Kulcha’s texture seemed to be almost like a sandwich bread stuffed with aloo.We have had kulchas at many places before but have never had something like this - overall quite a disappointment.
Aloo paratha - Came with Pickle,Curd and Aloo chole which was all fine and even the paratha was thankfully better then others.
Tabdoori Paneer - The first dish which came and was bright orange in color with food color.Taste was just ok.
Buttermilk - Taste was ok.
Gulab Jamun - Taste was just ok.
No doubt the ambiance is beautiful and menu is very tempting and I was really wanting to try their chaats another time but looking at the Freshness of most food overall this time and taste ,I dont think I will be going back.Hoping restaurant works on authentic taste and freshness of...
Read moreFrom the moment you step in, Vrindaavan promises a journey into the depths of traditional Indian flavors. From the service to atmosphere everything hit close to home. We ordered multiple items starting with * Egg Street Style Chowmein*. This is not just another noodle dish, it is an experience. Having savored chowmeins from streets around the world, I can say, unequivocally, Vrindaavan’s rendition stands peerless.
The Mutton Bhuna offered an authentic, decadent blend of tender meat bathed in a robust gravy that’s rich in spices but not overwhelmingly so. Each bite was a tender foray into the very essence of Indian mutton dishes.
Venturing into the world of tandoor, Vrindaavan showcased its mastery over the grill. Every item, kissed by the smoky caress of the tandoor, was a perfect amalgamation of smokiness and intrinsic flavors. The kebabs melted in the mouth, the tikka were succulent, and the naans, fluffy and aromatic.
No visit to an Indian eatery is complete without a rendezvous with the quintessential Paav Bhaji and PaaniPuri and Vrindaavan’s version was a melodious symphony.
And then, the grand finale - desserts. The Jalebi - were the stuff of dreams. But the showstopper, in my opinion, was the Meeta Paan*.
Vrindaavan isn’t just another Indian restaurant. It is a celebration, a saga of flavors that take you on a journey through the vast culinary landscape of India, with a few delightful detours...
Read moreI ordered 34 cake shots on 25th October for a pickup on 26th October evening 4pm.
Flavors were rose milk, mango, butterscotch, gulab jamun, paan and rasmalai
I picked up the order at around 7pm, they took the order out of fridge and packed it for me. At 8:30pm we opened to have them at a party, Rosemilk was completely spoiled and smelling Mango was leaky and tasted soo weird
The others were fine, but since we were skeptical after the spoiled ones we preferred to just trash the whole order and not take a risk as we had kids and older members of the family attending the party.
When i called to inform them about it, the first person directly started claiming they were all freshly made till a second person got on call and said they are prepared overnight.
When i placed the order on Friday, their employee had clearly said they have “only 6 remaining of paan” and similars for others - so definitely the order I received was more than a day or two old. This is fine as cakes don't always have to be made on the same day. However, i would expect the order to be quality checked before given to customer!
It is sad that this restaurant take the whole process of quality check for granted and completely ignore it!
This was for a potluck party and it was such an embarrassment!
Stop treating customers as if you are doing...
