Blackhawk Pizza, Inc — Restaurant in Bellingham

I have to say Blackhawk Pizza and it people are just good people. I have been ordering at least 1-3 times per week for years. Tonight there was a very minimal mistake, I had to call only because my daughter who is home from school really was excited to have her favorite meal from Blackhawk. They must have been busy! I told them to not rush and that it is no big deal. Offered to pay for the new meal, they said no! The owner or one of the store owners knocked on my door less than 20 -25 minutes later. I did not know it was the owner as I tried very intently on giving an extra tip, he refused! He ended up having to tell me he was the owner as he walked away not accepting the gratuity. The weather is not great at all and they went the extra mile for their customer. Much appreciated! This Long time customer is a lifetime customer! Thank You Blackhawk Pizza! I placed a large order for pickup and I forgot to grab the salad that was part of it. The owner, George, left a voicemail after I returned home apologizing for the mistake (even though, it was my error) and was adamant to deliver the single salad to us. After the hand-off, he refused the cash tip and apologized again (even though, it wasn’t his mistake) and explained that they made a new, fresh salad for the delivery. I’m already a loyal customer (personally think it’s the best pizza in the area, plus they’re open Sundays and have gluten-free), but was absolutely blown away by this level of customer service. I don’t usually leave reviews but after our food today I have to... Hubby and I wanted takeout today so we ordered from here... he got the veal parm dinner and I got chicken parm, and a couple other things. We were literally blown away by the dinners. For a pizza place, we both agreed it was the best veal/chicken parms we’ve had. The portion of the meat is super generous and you definitely get what you pay for. And it’s cut up meat vs. other places that just stick a couple pieces of the full cutler on top. Cheese was gooey and perfect. The garlic bread that came with it was also soo good.
