Cryptid Escapes — Attraction in Bellingham

Recently, our group of local RE/MAX real estate brokers embarked on a thrilling adventure at the Cryptid Escape Room. Our group consisted of individuals with varying levels of escape room experience, some seasoned veterans and others brand new to the concept. We were seeking a fun and engaging activity to enjoy together, and boy, did we find it!

From the moment we stepped into the escape room, the excitement in the air was palpable. The room was intricately designed with immersive elements that transported us into a high-stakes mission to save humanity. As a group of problem solvers and strategists, we were eager to put our skills to the test.

What impressed us most was the seamless collaboration that unfolded amongst our diverse group. While some of us had previous escape room experience, we were sure to include and support those who were new to the concept. Everyone's unique strengths and perspectives contributed to our success as we worked together to unravel the puzzles and uncover hidden clues.

The challenges presented to us were both mentally stimulating and engaging. We found ourselves completely absorbed in deciphering codes, solving riddles, and unlocking hidden compartments. Each puzzle we conquered brought us closer to our ultimate goal: saving humanity. The sense of achievement with every small victory was incredibly rewarding, fueling our determination to press forward.

As the clock ticked down, the pressure intensified, but our team remained focused and determined. The adrenaline rush of racing against time only heightened our excitement and strengthened our bond as a group. And then, in a triumphant moment, we cracked the final code and escaped the room, our collective efforts ensuring the salvation of humanity.

I didn’t catch our gamemasters name but she did an exceptionally poor job of helping. After being stuck on a puzzle for 10 or so minutes we got a clue that we later figured out we hadn’t even got to yet. This ended up getting us stuck even further when she could have mentioned something simple like how we had missed a lock we had a key for. The room itself was relatively boring design wise ( murder mystery) and uncomfortably hot despite it being only 64 outside. The story setup was about 10 seconds long. I did a leadership team building experience at Cryptid Escapes in the Murder Mystery room today and it was fantastic! This escape room has so many fun (and challenging!) puzzles to work out with your group. This was the first escape room for most of my team and everyone had a blast solving the mystery together.
