Good Earth Pottery — Attraction in Bellingham

I found handmade adorable fun pieces from this precious gem of a shop. I was in college at WWU from 1988 to 1990 and swooned over this shop. As a waitress at The Colophon, we used soup bowls made from Good Earth Pottery. I could not afford it but never forgot this adorable shop. Now I fill my home with these pieces. Cups. Mugs. Sculpture. It all feels so personal. It’s Etsy on steroids. The pieces are shipped wrapped so carefully they should moonlight in organ donation or armaments. lol. I love this store. My heart lives in Fairhaven. Ended up here on accident when I was looking for the plant shop kitty-corner to it, and so glad I did! Huge variety of artistic styles from local makers, I feel like everyone will find at least one artist's works who appeal to them. Some beautiful pottery. However the pricing is so high we wonder if any ever sells. We have stopped in on occasion with out of town family/guests, however we have never purchased anything. We are a family of original art collectors and one of our visiting family goes to Santa Fe and buys art there, still the consensus is the pricing at this shop...
