Belton Area Museum Association — Attraction in Belton

This place could be nice to rent for an event, but it's very unorganized. A friend rented for an event a few weeks before I did and we both went through a lot of hassle about our deposits. Even if you leave the place PERFECT, the lady tries to make things up and jerk you around about the deposit. I knew this beforehand because of my friends experience so I wasn't surprised when she treated me the same way. So if you don't mind having to constantly call someone for almost 3 weeks while they give you the run around about a deposit, then you'll like the place. After I finally let her know I was coming to get my deposit because she had no reason not to return it, (it worked for my friend) she said I mailed it to you. Donnie I'm just waiting on the check. The Belton area museum is a railroad stop that has been made into a museum you will find the history of tennis in this area on one part in the rest of the museum is dedicated to items that we used for the different factories in farming in the Belton area. This was my first time reviewing the museum. I was there for the dedication of a special drum ceremony for Geer Gantt High of Belton S.C. This was an awesome historical event! Some of my family went to this school during segregated times and the significance of this event was very Powerful!
