I was very pleasantly surprised at how awesome this park is. It has been "remodeled" from what it once was. The play area has water pumps, encouraging experimental play in the sand box area. A makeshift kitchen area was a favorite for my kids. There is a hiking trail that goes around the park through the trees and foliage. An outdoor classroom with wheelchair accessibility is an under utilized area in town. What a beautiful place to learn. There is a picnic area off the main park with tables and shelter. Insect, butterfly and bat houses on site among the pollinator designated garden. Across from all that there is a baseball field, basketball court and storage building with bathrooms.
