Ordered 2 baking dishes in 2020. Noticed that one of them had what looked like crack lines in it but didn't really think too much about it. In December 2021 I made dinner in one of the dishes and when I put it on the table, it split. I emailed them & was told to send pictures & fill out a form. It took forever to get a response and when they finally did, they only offered me a 50% discount to get a replacement. Not sure why I had to pay for a replacement if the product was defective. Anyway, the replacement arrived and about 2 months later, I'm seeing crack lines in it, so I'm not using it. I don't think I should even bother emailing them because I know I'm either not going to get a response or they're not going to stand behind the product and I'll have to pay again for another dish, which I refuse to do. I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary with these baking dishes so I guess they're just poorly made and I'm stuck now and out the money for 2 dishes-one that I threw out and one that's defective. In 1972, I was 16, and my parents were moving us from my wonderful Maine home to Ohio. We made a stop at the Bennington factory because my mother had a dream. She bought service for 8 and some serving pieces. My sister and I were each allowed to pick out a bowl and a cup for ourselves. The dishes were used every day and eventually it was no longer a service for 8, but I got those beautiful serving pieces. Fast forward 50 years and I never got over those dishes. My husband arranged for the arrival of four boxes this morning, packed to survive a lunar landing. Read moreWe placed a large order and had one flawed piece that had a large brown discoloration. We emailed the company politely requesting a replacement, and they replied telling us condescendingly that it was a "first quality piece" and "unique."
I filled out the claims form on their site and emailed it in. Six days went by with no reply. This morning I called the company and spoke with Lynn. All she did was read back the same email they had sent before and told me that was their response. I asked directly and she said that they refused to replace the piece.
I would therefore recommend against ordering from this company since they refuse to take any responsibility for poor...
