They have the nerve to make you leave your bag at the counter, when the whole store is giving fast fashion landfill. You won't find quality vintage pieces here. The nice clothing is displayed in the window to lure in customers. When you walk in, there's an entire section right behind the display clothes with more nice items. None of these items are for sale. You can tell staff are irritated having to tell customers this info because they're very rude if you appear to be looking at those items/in that section.
You need to make your "not for sale" sign bigger because most people don't immediately see your little piece of paper you stuck to a wall. 2. People like nice clothes. Maybe do a better job curating your pieces so that people won't feel the need to go to the display section just to find something wearable.
There's additional items throughout the store that are not for sale and the areas are either not labeled or not labelled well. I saw a girl become really snappy with some customers looking through a forbidden rack of shirts. Like seriously? How hard is it to invest in some stanchions or better yet, hide the items you don't want people to look through? And the rudeness when people make this mistake is what blows my mind. Unbelievable.
I do like the selection of accessories offered. I was going to give two stars just for that, but the attitudes I witnessed today compelled me...
Read moreHorrible customer service. Main worker (darker skinned male) cussing out customers. And can hear it all on the side walk. Had to leave. Apparently management is never in and he would not give me the info. Non friendly store front. Thereâs so many other vintage stores in this area just keep away from this one guys. This is the second time Iâve had issues with this store and their non adherence to promote a safe friendly shopping environment. Contacting the business bureau today or tomorrow. Edit: conversation with the customer : customer told to change in back, security or other worker accused her of stealing. Original worker told her she had to be more âdiscreetâ changing back there and it was her fault she got caught changing in an non customer area (not official changing room) but I got the sense that he may have a camera up or spying on her. And didnât want to get in trouble himself so put it all on her. It was WEIRD and she def wasnât stealing just doing as she...
Read morecute and well-curated vintage store on telegraph. lots of variety and it's all well-sorted. there's a good selection of 1940s-90s vintage pieces, formal and prom dresses, and designer clothes. most of the store is organized by brand, but there are a few racks specifically for lingerie, indie sleaze, goth, hippie, and clothing-types. there are also a lot of cute shoes, bags, and jewelry. you have to check your bag in at the front desk and you can't walk around with food or drink--you have to leave your snacks at the front door, so i recommend finishing what you're eating before you go or eating after. also, they have a few changing rooms in the back which are nice & have good mirrors. the prices are pretty reasonable for a higher end vintage store. it's generally a range of $8-16 per piece for basic clothes and then goes up to probably $80 max for certain designer or formal clothes. there's also a men's...
