if i could give it less than a star, i would. place is horrible. my family held an event here and it was absolutely terrible. we had to set up before the event and half the things that we asked for to be done, wasn’t done. we had to do what they didn’t do AND clean. PLACE IS DIRTY! went to the bathroom, there was literally gum stuck to the toilet seat and still stains from someone relieving themself. the trash wasn’t dumped and the sink was absolutely dirty. the carpet was absolutely filthy. we decorated the place better than it actually looked when we arrived. do not consider this place if you’re thinking about...

The Majesty Lounge is a black owned business that I admire dearly. The events that I have attended is spectacular, the owners Kerry and Quinecia Brackett are very friendly. These two young people are accommodating and it shows through their services to the public. The Spoken Word events I attended was excellent. The lounge had a beautiful decor, it was very clean, the atmosphere was appropriate, oh my the bathroom was clean with air freshers and you could not smell it at the entrance. The Majesty Lounge...There are so many things that I could say about this establishment, but I'll attempt to keep it brief. The owners have the perfect balance of professionalism and making you feel that down home Southern Hospitality simultaneously. They always have a diverse lineup of poets, as well as discussion forums that address what's going on in the community and globally. I highly recommend this establishment if you want to have a good time, or if you want to use the building to host a great time. You can't go wrong either way.
