Miner's Memorial Park — Attraction in Bethel Park

U grew up across the street from this park. The people that go to the park are usually not from around there but they are somehow able to stop a 10 year olds kick ball game to use the field to play softball/baseball games. There are weeds every where, people do drugs/ write inappropriate things under the pavilion, and the playground barely has anything for the older kids. It only has swings, one big slide, three tiny slides, and a set of horses. The park needs more things for kids to do so that they will actually want to go...

Beautiful park, Family has grown up in the neighborhood & lived here for generations, but due to all the traffic from the upgrades it causes disturbance and lack of respect for the residents who live in the neighborhood. I've seen better fields.. I did how ever like the first day we played there. It was an early game, so the parking was great! However, our second day of playing softball. The parking was horrible.
