Went here for the first time the other day. There is no host, it is seat yourself.
We had the bubble tea which was delicious. The tiger strike was a nice thick coffee syrup. Which I could have ordered another one.
We ordered the spicy dumplings and the shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls were individually wrapped and it was extremely fresh. It came with two sauces, one was almost like a hoisin sauce and there was a peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was different from what I had before. It is very thin. The spicy dumplings were the star of the show though. The dumplings were fresh and had a nice kick to them. It held up to my expectations.
I had the Bunbohue Noodle Soup with shrimp. The portion size was huge. It came out steaming hot. The broth was a bright red color. It was flavorful and it was very spicy. I didn't realize when ordering it was going to be a spicy dish but I'm happy with my choice. My boyfriend ordered the Japanese ramen with shrimp. The broth was flavorful and veggies were cooked to perfection.
Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend coming here as the food did...
Read moreMy usual dining companion went for lunch and had a disappointing experience. First of all, charging $3.00 for water? Give me a break. The restaurant's preference or policy notwithstanding, the fact that the server actually made an issue of it was really off-putting. No hot water in the bathroom to wash your hands? Strike two. She was there with the kiddo, who actually asked her if the restaurant would charge them for the water they used to wash their hands after going to the restroom. I really hope that the dish that they served her was actually Gluten-Free as claimed by the server...
Prices aren't listed on the menu that's posted for you to order from; you have to request a paper menu to know what you're paying. Also the spring roll order was never put in! So $23 for a rice-and-tofu entree, boba tea and a glass of ice water. Nope, Don't think this one earned a repeat visit. She did say that the decor was nice, but maybe management should have paid more attention to customer service as...
Read moreMy family and I visited a few days ago and as we walked in, we were all glanced at in the most uncomfortable way. No greetings by all 3-4 staff members. We were unsure if they were closed by the looks of it. Then we said we’re a party of four, and we were motioned to take menus and sit anywhere. There was only one table taken, but most of the tables were dirty. We sat down and received the menus, and were asked what we wanted to drink. Apparently this restaurant doesn’t serve tap water, you have to purchase bottled water for $2 each. So we opted for bubble tea. Food tasted good however, this restaurant uses takeout containers and plastic utensils to serve their food. The only thing that wasn’t in a takeout container was the pho and soup spoon. We thought food tasted good, but very overpriced especially for the lack of service and the use of takeout containers. The only reason we’d go back is if there were no other pho...
