I love this trail! Super pretty, multiple trails, next to the river, little brook run offs. Absolutely gorgeous. Gets muddy after a rain fall because the area by the river isn't paved. You are more than welcomed to bring horses. I advise keeping your dog on the leash a. Its not an off leash dog park and b. The river is deep and fast. Bring sun block and lots of mosquito repellent!! There's parking in an upper and lower lot. Picnic tables in the upper lot. Fun path to use and runner friendly provided it didnt...

Rockhounding? We only found one agate here, but as you can see, it's a nice one. I'd suggest bringing a kayak to reach the more desirable banks. Otherwise you'll be reduced to picking up pieces of quartz and MAYBE petrified wood if you're lucky. That said, me and my dad flipped when he pulled this big boy out of the dirt. A fantastic park with long trails, relaxing scenery, dog friendly, and depending on the season a delightful amount of birds to watch. This is a great park maintained by the Yellowstone Rivers and Parks Association. An excellent part of the Billings Landscape.
