Birmingham Public Library Southside Branch — Attraction in Birmingham

I've just been threatened by a homeless person at southside library in front of two women staff (white) they watched and listened while the homeless man threatened me and walked up on me...they looked and said nothing. ..it was going on for about 10minutes...with the camera facing our direction..I kept giving the ladies eye contact to see if they would do something about it and they looked me in the eye and didn't say a word in front of several witnesses...the man said he was gone attack me outside also... the point is everything I come here to do applications the homeless people are in here sleep and/or staring/starting with people who come in here for business or for library purposes...they usually say something when they doze off or something but today those ladies watched with a smirk and said not...

If you come to get books here then you are good, that’s all it’s good for, their whole online system is slow, god forbid you need to print one paper! It will take you 30 minutes, then they will blame you saying you are the problem, that you clicked it too many times....

Kinda small and cozy place. There is not enough private space to study. Perhaps due to COVID restrictions. I was hoping to spend lot of hours studying but it is simply not...
