If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. Golden Temple is hands down my favorite place in the whole world — and that’s not an exaggeration. We don’t even live in Birmingham, but every single time we’re anywhere near this city, we make it a point to stop here. It’s become a sacred ritual in our travels — like visiting a dear old friend who always lifts our spirits.

The store itself is pure magic. There’s something about the energy when you walk in — warm, welcoming, vibrant. It’s a rare gem that feels more like an experience than just a place to shop. The clothing is absolutely beautiful — stylish, soulful, and totally unique. It’s my favorite spot to shop for clothes and find meaningful, one-of-a-kind gifts for loved ones (and let’s be honest, for myself too!).

They also carry an incredible range of high-quality supplements and wellness products — literally everything I could ever want, all in one place. I always feel like my mind, body, and soul get a little boost just walking through the aisles.

And don’t even get me started on the café. The food is not just healthy — it’s delicious. Nourishing, vibrant, and clearly made with care. You leave feeling full, but also energized and light. And the staff? Genuinely some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. You can feel their joy and authenticity — it makes the whole experience even more special.

Visited the store today to purchase some items and look at crystals .The staff made me feel so uncomfortable. I was asked at least 6 times back to back if I needed help with anything. They followed me around the store and the entire staff seem to have anxiety. This has worsen over the years (I am a regular customer ). The staff does not give you time or space to browse the crystals nor jewelry. I felt so uncomfortable that I purchased what I had and left. They think certain people are stealing and I know this for sure because I heard a conversation between the staff during one of my visits to the store. I will be finding a new health food store to shop and I will spread the word to everyone else that I know. Management and staff at this store needs to know that everyone that looks a certain way or color does not steal. They are having problems with people stealing because they're watching the wrong person. ... I've spent too much money in this store to be followed around like a criminal. I will spend my money...

I'm a nice person and don't really like to give bad reviews, but every time i go into this shop there is this one sales person who is NOT friendly towards me at all, i always catch him saying something about me to other people.. Mind you i always spend money or buy something when i go in this shop.. Like what is his/her problem?🤷...i tried to over look him, but at this point i will not be spending any more of by money at this location.. There are nice shops and better vibe of people, who are not RACIST! At shops in Atlanta that i have visited.. Yes i will go the extra mile for people who are not RACIST and who have good vibes!! ...never give your money to places that are not friendly toward BLACK PEOPLE, who treat you as if you are stealing, mind you i work in the medical field; and if a place leave you feeling at a lesser vibe then you were before you went in there, then that's a place you need NOT to return!!! ...
