Tom Bradford Park — Attraction in Birmingham

Honestly I've been to this park 2 or 3 times and never had problems but the last time we went it was me and my 7 yr old daughter and there was this very tall large guy with a black hoodie who walked to the back of his car, stood behind it and watched us for about 10 mins before I told my daughter we were leaving and to hurry along with me to the truck. He watched us walk from the pond area where we were walking around, across the playground area and all the way to our truck. It was just us, the guy and one more couple way up on the hill in the barbecue area so naturally with all the trafficking stuff it really had us on high alert being that im only 5'2 with a 7 year old little girl. When we got into our truck, he got in his car so I told my daughter to buckle up and that if he came behind us I was going to call 911 and go to the police station. Fortunately he didnt even crank his car but even then, I still went the long way around and turned down different streets before ariving home just to be on the safe side so with ALL that being said, we will never go back there again, we will just go to Railroad park where theres security, lots of people around and emergency call...

Great for a picnic! It has a lot of playgrounds for children. Clean park over all and a lot of shade. The only thing that made me give it 3 stars are the restrooms... They were absolutely DISGUSTING! We had to leave the park to use the restroom in a nearby business. If you go to the park don't drink too much fluids unless you're willing to go somewhere else for the restroom. It got a little sketchy at dusk right when we left, probably not smart to...

Lots of places to play and explore! Soccer field, lake with walking trail, wooded trail, 4 kids play structures (mostly age 3+), tennis courts, 2 large pavilions, and lots of parking. I didn't check the restroom because it was a too long walk uphill for the kiddos. Lots of places to play in the creeks. I felt it was a little dangerous for my 1 and 3 year old to just run about with so many hills, rocks, and water, but with supervision they had...
