Micro Computer — Local services in Trussville

I'm too old to be building my own computer any more. Yeah, I could save money, but I don't care about that any longer. I want quality and service. I read the reviews here. The negative reviews were funny. So, off I go to Micro Computer. Told the man what I wanted. He made suggestions. I accepted most. NO pressure. I asked about having it built and ready next week. He asked if a couple hours would be ok. No, I'm about 30 miles away. Told him I'd prolly be back in 5 days. I went back the next day and he had the unit ready and waiting for the component I told him I'd bring later. Is he cheap? No. Is he expensive? No. Prices are fair. Don't expect free stuff from someone that is trying to make a fair living. Will I go back? Of course! Do I recommend him? Yes, if you are a sane person. If you are one of those people that are never happy, stay away. He is a good guy and would probably help you the best he could but I don't like seeing customers or businesses treated bad. Go see him, buy a new computer, have yours repaired, get yours upgraded, get parts you need/want, and tell him you read my review here. My computer would not even boot up. I searched on line frantically for someone to repair (if possible) and found this business. I was impressed with the many reviews and now I know why! He immediately discovered the problem and told me I had bite marks, even though tiny, on the main cord. (I have a puppy, so I know the culprit!) He tested it and proved to me that was exactly what was wrong. I was so relieved! I told him to check it and update any way he saw fit, as I had quite a bit of software that I would have to reload from purchase sites if I had a crash and I asked him to make it faster, if possible. I have had this computer several years and when I picked it up THE NEXT DAY, it was 80% faster and he had organized all of my files and made folders for them and given me a new hard drive. I have the old hard drive as a back up now. I highly recommend this business and was very pleased with the price and timeliness...

If I could give this place a 6 star review I would. Leo is an absolutely amazing guy and I highly recommend him if you’re having PC issues. I brought my pc in on Friday April 12th 2024 with multiple problems that I couldn’t figure out. Games crashing, disconnecting from the internet, apps crashing you name it. He gave me a call THE NEXT DAY, saying he had narrowed the issue down to either the cpu or ssd being bad but needed to run some more tests. Again THE NEXT DAY he called back saying he had figured out that my cpu was faulty went out of his way to try and get it warranty’d. He replaced the cpu and it good as new. The whole thing took 3 days. If he sees this I want him to know that Parker Farris is forever grateful for him and I can’t thank him enough for his help.
