Kiwanis Park — Attraction in Bismarck

We visited Bismarck on our North Dakota & South Dakota trek. We weren't looking for these in particular but driving down the street we spotted the Bismarck mural and stopped to take pictures. We were pleasantly surprised to find there were two other murals on the sides of the building. It's always fun finding these interesting places when visiting a new town. The newly installed fitness path makes it even more enjoyable to walk this park. My only complaint would be the state of the bathrooms. It would be nice to have them open regularly and well stocked but the location does lend itself to shady things happening in the restrooms so it's suitable for the area. The park has two different playgrounds and lots of out of the way areas to spread a blanket and spend some time with nature or do some...

Goodness gracious! Loved this place! Great picture spots, lots of parking, clean walkways, family and pet friendly. And if you love softball or baseball, the tailgating is shocking! Never thought I would see that at softball games. The world tournament is held here. Oops US, sorry,not world. You won't get parking unless you come early. Good news is on those days cops are patrolling the parking lots so you can enjoy watching...
