Kitchen Tune-Up — Attraction in Bloomfield

From start to finish I felt extremely comfortable and confident in the planning process and with the very talented group of people who represent Kitchen Tune-Up (Bloomfield). At the start, Ellen and I met and discussed the how I would like to change and refresh my tired old kitchen. Ellen really listened to me, asked great questions and along the way provided me with her thoughts and ideas for my project based on her vast experience with kitchen design. No pressure, just good conversation and lots of great ideas. I found every step of the process to be well thought out and explained. Every member of the team - sales, planning & coordination and, ultimately, implementation - was professional, reliable and very talented. And let's talk about implementation -- the team showed up on time (my pet peeve!), they were extremely neat & organized (also a pet peeve) and they did not waste any time (OK...that's a pet peeve too!). We hired Kitchen Tune up to repaint our existing kitchen cabinets from the original light brown color to an updated all white color. From our very first contact Takia was extremely responsive and open setting all expectations for the process and pricing. She stayed in contact before during and after to ensure everything was perfect. The team used for the painting was phenomenal. There was a foreman and a team of two painters who did the daily work. They could not have been more prompt, professional and most importantly respectful of our home. Our kitchen desperately needed a modern look with refinished cabinets, new backsplash, new countertops, and a remodeled chimney stack. We were so impressed by the quality that Takia and her team provided. They refinished all of our cabinets to be white and we couldn't be happier. You would have no idea that they were painted. Very professional. The backsplash was done perfectly and we refaced our chimney with shiplap. The carpenter who was in charge refused to settle for anything less than perfection, even when it meant throwing away all the original wood that was shipped and starting from scratch. The price was very affordable, especially for the work that was done. They sealed off the area they were working on and cleaned everything really well. They also were right on time every day and the budget never changed throughout the entire project. We will definitely want to use them again in the future. 100% peace of mind when using them....
