Wrights Field — Attraction in Bloomfield

Small and great at the same time. Its a very tucked away park for family and kids. With two baseball field which can be rented for personal use from township for parties or private games. One field smaller than the other, which I saw used for boys games and the other high school and above. The also have a concession stand which is active durning games that sales hotdogs popcorn,etc. This field also have two play area for kids, toddlers and older kids. The area is small but great not to many people know of this park. The rec department does a decent job maintaining the fields and the park. The baseball league run by the Bloomfield Baseball Association is amazing! John and Christina do an excellent job running and maintaining that league. The only reason I give it 3 stars and not 5 is because the smell of weed is everywhere! There are kids that sit in the abandoned little league dugout and get baked every night. It's really sad and the police couldn't care less. Perfect to walk around the perimeter of if you're trying to do some exercise. The main fields are kept clean and neat. Many people bring their dogs here though, so if you're not a dog person be warned. I love dogs so it just adds to my lovely experience.
