This is a tiny little gem of a place that is both a vegetarian restaurant of sorts and a place to get interesting South Asian and East Asian food items and spices. This store has an interesting assortment of fresh vegetables as well, and a decent variety of frozen fish and meats. However, it is tricky to shop here because they don’t have price tags on most of the items, and the prices on the same item can change without notice within a matter of days/weeks, which makes shopping here frustrating at times.

I just went there to buy some basil leaf drink, no tag. Bad sign, they write up whatever they like. It was $2.99. (I only got 2). Also a lot of their stuff are expired, I saw mold on the cans in the fridge. I lived here for 25 years, b-town international market has the best price when it comes to international food. Basal drink there is only $1.46. Save Your Money. Best Middle Eastern food in Bloomington Sahara Mart, and 4th Street market Other Asian stores near the Oasis, on 10th and the by pass.

I don't need to comment, the photo says it all.. most of the items on the shelves are expired. Even if they re not expired they re molded. I don’t know why? So i ve bought the item below last night it was frozen and i put it into the refrigerator to thaw it. This morning i opened and that’s the photo. This is not the first time . It always like this . I stopped shopping from them but I don’t want someone else has the same bad experience.

I have not purchased too many things from here but it’s a nice store with a good variety of Indian, Arab and southeast Asian products. Can be pretty pricy though and they do not have tags or marked prices on anything it seems which can be pretty frustrating. But the food—which I believe is made in house—they sell at the register is really good and not as expensive as the rest of the store in my experience. Cashiers and employees are hit or miss though. First time I came the guy at the register was really nice and personable. Then I came again and the lady didn’t say a word to me and didn’t even notice I was there for a solid three minutes when no one else was in line. It was not a big deal but it is worth mentioning. All in all, the store is nice but has its...

A majority of the items are not marked with prices so they can make up whatever price they want at the register. I just finished a shopping trip where I bought fewer than 10 items and my total was $75. Two spice packets, some soy chunks that were $3, some lentil patties, two frozen items and some ready-made food from the register.. how did this end up $75? They did not print me a receipt either and the guy at the register practically forced three dishes of food on me without telling me how much they were. I should have read other people's reviews warning me that this would happen. I'm afraid I will lose sleep over this and the amount of money I spent. I liked this place but I can't go back and get taken...

This store hardly has any variety in terms of Indian vegetables or fruits and whatever is available is quite stale. Even their frozen food section has readymade food but no variety in terms of frozen vegetables or fruits. This is a student town and yet the available options are so costly! Even the amount if curry leaves they give at the price they quote is exorbitant! If you check the other international markets here they have way more variety. Dont know why this shop doesn’t stock up much and not cater to their Indian customers! Just counting on the fact they in a way are a monopoly is UNACCEPTABLE and this...
