6/18/22 visit….I will first off say that “Family Fun Park” is a stretch! I have not been her in a long time but I planned a trip with a few of my grandkids (ages 4 & 7) , daughter and friend. We showed up around noonish to find a front row parking spot ( on a Saturday). Our plan was to grab carnival food for lunch , that we talked about on the 30 minute drive to Grady’s, only to find they are not even open for food!! NO food on a Saturday!! So now we have $60 bucks into tickets for rides and hungry kids!! So we rode the rides they could , but had to wait since there were only 2 very unpleasant young adults running the kiddie rides! They did not speak or smile and acted like the children had the plaque and couldn’t help them on or off rides BUT we could not help them either! The bumper boats were fun and we enjoyed them and the young lady running those was very pleasant!! On to the go carts as our final ride and those boys working that area should be employee’s of the month!! So once we were done we went to grab some slushees and the young girl didn’t let us know there were many other flavors then what was on the list, plus they seamed to be a bit watered down and not enough slush! The ticket machines seem a bit frustrating because you have to use cash and get a bunch of quarters back that give you a limp from the weight of them as you walk though the park! Also there are only 2 bathrooms and one of them the door does not lock. I can see why there is hardly any visitors, because generally if you have no food and no one to run rides who will come back!? Plus personally I think it’s a bit pricey for kiddie rides! We cut the trip short so we could go eat. Very disappointed and maybe would have made other plans or ate before we went if your website stated you had NO food!! We all really looked forward to corn dogs, funnel cakes and lemon shake ups !! Get it together Grady’s, no repeat...
Read moreI've given the restaurant a few tries, but I have to say: the food here is terrible. Everything with the exception of the pizza is food service/bagged and just, well, blah. Beer offerings are few and just as bland and blah as the food, but that's a minor complaint compared to the food. The pizza is only incrementally better than the rest of the menu; the sauce is not very good (there's a hint of sweetness) and the crust is bland. I simply cannot find any value in this pizza, especially when there are so many choices in the BloNo area that can actually get it right. I can appreciate the service, though. The servers are always super friendly.
We eat elsewhere if we're having a family night out, and head to the fun park after. Grady's park is a great place to take the family, and there's something to do for all ages. We particularly like the mini golf and have visited several times this summer. The child rides are clean and appear to be well maintained, so we never have any reservations about letting our youngest on the rides.
The park staff is mostly teens, and they're not always very attentive. I find they're usually clustered together and chatting, and have no issue with letting waiting people continue to wait while they finish their conversation.
"Oh. My. God, Bree. I can't even, like, believe you want to Netflix and chill with Bryson. That boy is no snack - he's basic AF. Uuugggggh."
"SIP. TEA. SARAH! HE IS STRAIGHT FIRE AND I'M FINNA...oh, snap. I gotta go take these tickets for the motorcycles."
Psssshhh. Kids.
Overall, Grady's is a great place to visit and have a good time. My recommendation is to skip the food before/after visiting the park, and don't expect a high level of customer service outside of...
Read moreCame this weekend, and had to buy individual tickets. Spent $100. You’d assume it would be simple, but this business makes a straight forward operation and makes so difficult and daunting. Everyone in line was sharing just how ridiculous their process is. Got inside with the tickets and a majority of the rides have no staff. Each ride was empty, and we would have to stand in line and pray someone would see us and come run the ride. Multiple people would walk by and we would ask for someone to assist and they would state someone was on the way. No one would show, and we would have to call them. They’d say they were sending someone. No one would show. They would state rides were out of order, but had no signage stating that. They also had no signage warning that not all rides were open due to lack of staff. At bare minimum, they should have had a sign stating that due to staffing issues, there may be a delay. No adult employees at this park - run by children. The rides we did get someone to come operate, the operator would struggle with. They’d have to radio someone asking how to do it. At one point we had 3 young kids on a kiddie ride, and the employee was repeating the same steps over and over. I ask her if there was an issue with the ride and if we should go to another ride, and she stated she didn’t know how to run the ride and she had radioed for help. Not only were they not properly staffed, they were not trained properly. No ride operate should say “I don’t know how to run this ride”. No food places open within the park either. Do not recommend this park. It’s outdated, and not staffed. Plenty of other things to do for less money. This place...
