I went for the first time a couple weeks ago, and it was as good an outdoor experience as any I've ever had, including at National Parks. Scenery is gorgeous and varied every spot I walked. I think I saw as many species of birds here as I have in the rest of my life combined. A lot of it is accessible by light rail if you just walk 5-10 minutes to a trail or entrance. I was only here in the late morning and most of the afternoon, but I'd imagine there are several excellent spots to watch a sunrise or sunset. Only problems are the reoccurring deafening plane engines overhead throughout the refuge, and the car noise when you get near the few intersecting highways and bridges, but overall I cannot recommend it highly enough and cannot...
