Blue Ash nature park is a nice place to take my child for playground fun. We both enjoy that aspect of the park. I remember taking walks on the trails with my grandma when I was a kid. The trails years ago seemed better taken care of. Ever since Blue Ash opened Summit Park, I feel the nature park has been neglected. The trails are filled with bush honeysuckle (an invasive plant species) and other invasives that have been squeezing out native plants in the park for quite some time. I even see bamboo growing on the outside of the trails, along plainfield road. I hope the city of blue ash realizes how beneficial it would be to remove these invasive plants and replace them with natives so our wildlife can thrive in blue ash nature park and not just summit park. Read moreNice little gravel trails and lots of shade since it's a forest instead of a meadow. Picnic shelters and playgrounds scattered throughout. Because of the forested aspect, I recommend sneakers instead of sandals if walking a dog here because you might have to step over some ivy or shrubbery if you have to pull your dog to the side for another dog to pass (or to pick up doggy doo). I wish this park had more native plants but that may be hard to pursue in reality due to the lack of sun here. I don't love walking my pup here due to the tight quarters ; we prefer to come later in the day and try to avoid loops where we see others walking their pups since my dog isn't particularly friendly and it's not easy to give him personal space when passing others...
