Have visited a couple of times. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds and buildings are what you would hope they would be. If you like tours they have multiple options and you should book yours up to 8 weeks in the future and there is a running list of dates on the reservation site for upcoming release windows. If you do not see availability for the date you wish to visit, please utilize our waitlist. Tours are free and so are tastings! Be advised that lines start to form at 8 am M-SA and 10:30 SU when the parking lot opens as fans wait for the 9 am M-SA and 11 on SU opening to get 1 (sometimes 2 different bottles) of the special daily released bottles in the gift shop. Most in the know show up around 9:30 or 10 M-TH and usually can snag a special bottle Friday and Saturday can be very busy all day. Sunday is also very busy but doors don't open until 11. Unfortunately at time of this review devastating floods have ravaged a vast area of Kentucky and the surrounding states including the Buffalo Trace Distillery. I hope and believe these hard working and resilient creators of America's only true Spirit will prevail. God Bless you all at BT! I am looking forward to seeing you soon and Thank you for...

Beautiful grounds! The visitor entrance is easy to miss, but they have great staff available to assist with getting to the correct entrance. I don't know why we are required to make reservations...while I had a plus one at the last minute, our group was definitely over the 10 person limit. The tour guide was marginal and did not explain things well but rather talked more about himself and making sales pitches for things to buy in the gift shop. The tasting was ok....I was disappointed Eagle Rare was not part of the tasting but a vodka and whiskey were. Still baffled as to why during a bourbon tasting we were offered vodka and not all the varieties of bourbon made. The recent flood also contributed to a diminished tour as repairs and clean-up were...

This distillery has been thru hell in 2025 like so many of us,yet with the Spirit of the Buffalo still charges on generously to us subscribers as if nothing happened! Two floods in one year is hitherto an enormous weight to bear.Yet the signature bourbon is still 90 proof and still $27.00 how much do you think it would be if Brown and Foreman owned it rather than Sezarek. We still got a grand free tour and many great tastes! I spent around $900.00 to show my appreciation and they taxied it all the way around to the Blanton dock in the rain! I was lucky enough to catch up with FreddyJohnson before we left.I never have a bad time here. What a...

I needed a family friendly activity for the holidays and I couldn't have chosen anything better for us to do. With family coming in from out of town, this hour long activity was a great fit for an afternoon of fun. The tour explained some history, Will, the tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. Watch the weather, The Old Taylor Tour takes you outside and up and down several flights of stairs. The tasting at the end is even more family friendly, offerings of root beer for under-age youngsters is brilliant. By the way- it's all free... unless you buy items from the gift shop!
