Barry's Pawn & Jewelry Boca Raton — Attraction in Boca Raton

To be honest Barry and his sons are more like family. I’ve known Barry since I’m 19 (from about 1995….)and I’m 51….over the course of 30 years I have brought him all my business. He’s always been fair and I knew his boys when they were in diapers..They run a great operation. They are authentic, transparent,respectful and have a long history in the community….there is probably 3 other pawn shops in his area and it would be sacriligious for me to not drive past those to see Barry and the kids…..I still have a soft spot for his old location of Lindell and federal…..and Barry still has the rotating display case THAT STILL WORKS and it has to be at least 30 years old…. Every time I go into the business it’s the first thing I do is rifle through the carnival display case it’s my favorite….. and at the end of the day I wouldn’t bring my merchandise anywhere else…Barry may be firm but he’s always fair and the market is the market….I appreciate everything you guys have done for me over the 30 years I know you Barry, you raised amazing sons as well so I give you credit to great accomplishments in business and fatherhood….….. Working long days, and as we all know having to use our phone for everything, can be less convenient then they really make it out to be. I came to Pawn and Jewelry Place to grab a stand alone GPS unit to help with my daily workloads, and was welcomed outside the store by an employee with a smile and an intent to give me A++ service. They didn't have any GPS units on the shelves, so he insisted to look through his large back inventory for what i was looking for. I had and amazing conversation with another employee as he was searching, and by the time i could itch my nose he was out front with two options for me. He explained everything about the unit, and said I could stop in to see if they had an accessory for it in the future. These guys are amazing, good family feeling in there store, and how they treated someone whos only seeking to by something of little to no value as if I was buying a bag of diamonds. Barry’s is the only place I will ever go should I need to utilize a pawn shop or their services again. In my experience, pawn shop people can be kind of rough and rude to put it lightly and politely (maybe not all, but in MY experience, most) Evan and Josh at Barry’s are welcoming, kind, caring, thorough, and more than fair. They make the whole experience very personalized and make you feel like an old family friend. As I watched several customers come in, they greeted them all by name and take time with each person, they don’t make you feel rushed. I can’t say enough about them. The store is clean, organized, and well stocked with great looking merchandise. The area feels safe and clean as well, which is nice. I highly recommend Barry’s pawn and jewelry if you ever need...
