My husband and I were on our biannual vacation to NC when we discovered this little gem. We had seen the establishment during a winter trip, however they are only open during the summer. When we saw they were open this past trip, we had to check it out. I have never been to a nicer adventure mini golf course and I have been to a lot, especially in the Orlando, FL area. The course is beautifully groomed and has a nice view when you get to the top. It is nestled on a hill that progresses up and then back down. You get a surprising challenge when trying to make your way through each hole. The only thing to be careful of is to not hit the ball too hard at the bunkers. You will be chasing it. Once we finished the course, we talked with the lovely woman who's husband had created the course. She was so friendly and a joy to chat with. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely...

Adventure Golf is awesome.
Magic Mountain Mini Golf is the only Adventure Golf course in the North Carolina High Country. The course is geographically, geologically, and anthropologically apropos: it climbs up and down a steep hill, the features are appropriate to the region (no lighthouses, windmills, or whales with closing jaws of doom), and offers enough of a challenge for repeated play.
If you tend to navigate your local large box retailer in an electric scooter, or if your school has sent a note home with your children warning that they are stealing the other kids lunches, then I'd suggest...
Read morePutt putt official this is not. Fun if you come with a liaise fair attitude it is. The stairs are intense if you have knee or hip problems, the holes are very up hill or down, and unfortunately the carpet used is worn in places. Unfortunately that means that well judged putts end up back at your feet because the slope is too much for the green speeds. The occasional hole in one will occur, but the cardinal sin of a ball getting stuck in a pipe during a two part hole was not fun, nor was the fact that we couldn't dislodge it. Its not that this place wasnt fun, but be prepared...
