INCREDIBLE food at Sunrise Grill. The goat cheese grits had my mind absolute blown. I had the Flankenstein Benedict breakfast. It's called the Flankenstein. Teryiaki Marinated flank steak Benedict on thick Texas toast, vadalia peach jam, Spinach, buttery holindaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs sprinkled with paprika. Immaculate. The presentation was beautiful and colorful. 100 extra points for a cool pun name!! They have a gourmet coffee bar with great espresso drinks and unique flavors like peanut butter and coconut. It's attached to a cool putt putt course that you can enjoy with the family! The waitress was truly great. Patient, attentive, funny, sweet and had good suggestions. She even gave us a sample of the goat cheese grits. Sweet tea is also southerner approved. 👌 DEFINITELY reccomend this place to anybody!! The atmosphere was so cute and comfortable. Restaurant is handicap accessible. The prices were SHOCKINGLY affordable. My Benedict breakfast was only $12!!

This place is great for breakfast. It's probably the best breakfast food I've ever had. Multiple creative versions of eggs Benedict, work your way through all of them if you can. On different visits, of course. As others have indicated, be prepared for a long wait. The service is slow so expect about a 25 minute wait for food after the 25-30 minute wait for a table. If you are looking for something fast just go to the Waffle House or IHOP like the rest of the sheeple. However, if the quality of the food matters more than the speed at which you can fill your pie-hole, then weather the wait, you will not be disappointed. Chocolate pancakes with espresso butter was amazing. Ask for extra butter. The gravy on the chicken fried steak wasn't too salty, not was it too floury, it was perfect. Lastly, I had the Lonestar eggs Benedict. Everything on this was so great. The brisket was falling apart perfectly, the eggs were expertly cooked and the gravy was just right.

Where do I start? If it took me as long to write this as it did to get done with my breakfast, we’d be here all day. Walked in and the dining room was almost empty, was told 20 minutes to wait. No problem…35 minutes later we were sat at a table that was empty since we walked in right at the hostess desk. We ordered drinks and the sweet tea tasted like fish. We ordered food and it took nearly 45 minutes for it to arrive…. I’ll speak on my food, but the others I was with weren’t impressed by the quality either. One half cooked waffle with some chocolate chips thrown on top for $10.50 by itself. 2 day old biscuits, saw dust flavored gravy, and some of the worst grits I’ve ever had. How does a breakfast place not know how to make a breakfast meal? The coffee bar had a quote out that read “ To know how to eat well, is to know how to wait.” Guess the employees take that quote too literal.

TL;DR - Fantastic food, nice atmosphere, awesome service thanks to the kick butt waitress Alura.

I have been coming here to eat breakfast on the weekends at least twice a month, for a solid two and a half years, even though I now live out of state. My overall experience here has been great, so I always enjoy returning. Easily my favorite breakfast place, without naming other restaurants of course.

Atmosphere: The restaurant seems very warm and inviting to me, especially during the winter or when it's raining. I miss the air hockey table and ski ball when they had their game room. They were great. Restaurant is nice though, big bench and table seating. It can get crowded though so try to get there before 9am if you plan to come for breakfast.

Food: I am always happy with the food here at Sunrise Grill. Typically we get the John Wayne, High Country Hash or 105 Special. If they ever have their Red Velvet pancakes, get them. They are fantastic. This most recent visit we ordered off their lunch and specials menus. I got a breakfast burger off the special menu this time but I forgot what it was named. Their hash browns and home fries are fantastic. If you can, get some of their in house BBQ sauce. It's to die for.

Service: Overall we have had pretty much all good experiences here with customer service. You definitely have to be patient though when they are busy. We typically bring UNO with us to pass the time while we wait. After all, they pretty much always have a bit of a wait because of their popularity. Unless you get here early for breakfast or catch them on an off time. Our favorite waitress by far is Alura. She, like many others, are bubbly, friendly, and nice. The waitresses here make you feel comfortable and show a genuine interest. These are things you don't find in a lot of other places, especially outside the area here.

Overall: I really enjoy coming here to eat. It will remain one of my favorite...

there are very few negative reviews for this place and I'm conflicted as to whether I want to believe everything was actually that unpleasant or the reviewer was just in a bad mood or an ass hole. Ive been going to sunrise for 4 years, a few times a month since I became a freshman at ASU. Taken parents, friends from Boone, friends from out of town, and recommended it to visitors. Everyone loves it just as much as I do.

There's a review or two on google that say the portions are small... Obviously these people eat 3 course feasts for every meal because I, even with my 21 year old male athlete metabolism am perfectly satisfied everytime. If you want a hungry man's recommendation, get an omelette, the burrito, or the John or Bruce Wayne.

Some negative reviews say they had to wait to be attended to, which I understand and I can verify that I've had to wait a few minutes when busy. However, always make sure you are prompted to sit somewhere before actually doing so, I think that may be part of people's problems as ive witnessed people just walk in and sit down and have no service. They're very good about clearing tables so you'll likely just look like you've finished eating if no one knows for sure you've just arrived

They have signature hot sauces which are awesome and make the meal in my opinion. The wait staff is always super friendly, Allura and Heather are the sweetest I've found. be prepared to have a lot of college kids around because it's very...

We wanted to like this spot so badly, it's usually busy and the food is usually good. BUT We've visited sunrise at least 10 times over the last 8 months, and there's always at least several minor inconveniences or a few big inconveniences.

They dont take to go orders if there's any kind of wait even if its only 5-10 minutes and if youre placing a phone order they charge an additional fee. Several major card providers have additional surcharge fees, the food almost never comes out correct the first time and if you send it back it seems like they put in half efforts to fix it, they charge 1.25 for a smallest portion of house made hot sauce. The service is the definition of hit or miss, we have had one server there that was great but every other time they have either seemed like they had no idea what they were doing, could care less about their job, or were just awkward for the duration of our visit.

There are so many things these owners could do better to provide a better experience for their guests while still maintaining a happy work environment for their employees and making a profit. It seems like they try to pinch pennies where it isn't beneficial and lack in training where it is.

Like I said- we wanted to love this place and have given it a million tries, but it's been a...
