Such a unique setting. Don’t let the “Reservations” comment keep you away! The prices here are comparable to other Italian restaurants in the area. We came here for our anniversary in January and now we come about every two weeks! Wish I could remember all of the servers names to give them positive reviews. But most recently (last weekend), our servers were Aubrey (sorry if I spelled wrong) and Jack. Great service, drinks were kept refilled, dishes kept cleared. With smiles and kind comments. Menu offers a variety for all diets. We have vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters in our family of 6. Atmosphere has darker lighting, ambience. Log cabin walls. Just a very warm feeling. Social distancing, masks worn, disposable menus. Spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine w/ homemade marinara, Pasta Shells, salads, you name it. My daughter gets the Alfredo sauce on Ziti noodles and adds broccoli. I’ve added the Cacciatore sauce (spicy, has onions and mushrooms) to pasta. Pimento cheese appetizer is enormous! Always plenty for take-home leftovers and VERY nice takeout containers too! Entrees average about $11 and up. For 4 of us to eat, plus wine, our tab usually averages over $60. I forgot to mention the great bread!

Great food, great setting. Have a top notch dinner in a top notch setting. A wonderful jazz duet serenaded us while we ate. The guitar and sax combined to play great old standards in an unobtrusive way. Very friendly waitstaff were very busy. A little slow on the drink refills, but appetizers, salads, soups and entrees were served in perfect order with perfect timing. Their tea is very good! My French onion soup was disappointing, too vinegary with half melted cheese but my shrimp cocktail was divine! Fresh, tender shrimp with a sauce that wasn't too hot, just right. Husband's shrimp and scallops disappeared quickly; my chicken picatta dish was so large i got totally full and brought half home. Broccoli on the side was cooked to perfect tenderness. Husband reports teriffic tiramisu and beer and wine list. Ladies room is bright and clean with a changing table. Toilet was slow to flush but staff assured me it only did that during a particular cycle on the dishwasher. Had a great time here. Bring everyone from your boss to your kids, everyone will enjoy it! Plenty of parking available in the back.

My family and I were visiting the area for our yearly snowboarding gathering and it was my sister in law bday and we wanted to treat ourself to a good dinner and celebrate her day. This place came up and the reviews were high and we wanted to give a shot. Well come to find out the food was simply terrible... It seems like it was microwaved, litterly no joke. The drinks were aweful and seems like they has some one new working the bar or something. It literally took us 2 hours to get our food and the steak seemed like it was also microwave as it was tough, hard and tasteless. We had to return it. The waiter was not on top of his game but we wanted to give this place a good review and try but it disappointed my family and I. If you are in the area don't go and the reviews might be all false and simply people without a pallet for Italian food. Lastly, it was over priced for the microwaved food.

We have for the past decade counted on casa Rustica for excellence in Italian dining. Food was consistently par excellence service heads above all others in professionalism and quality. We stayed the course when after the restaurant reopened during the pandemic we supported the establishment with takeout then dine in. We made allowance for staffing and food chain supplies when it wasn’t quite what we were accustomed to. Nonetheless, they’ve had time, in this diner’s opinion, to get back “in their groove “. We had an out of town guest who is building a home here and we decided to show him the best of Boone. We arrived at Casa Rustica with high hopes. Service was lackluster at best. The food was tepid and smaller portions but prices the same. We would have let our server know to take the food back to be heated or redone but we were unable to find him and the servers near our table seemed to have their hands full with their own tables. By the time we decided to order dessert to recoup our recommendation of eateries we ordered sambucca (you were out except for a thimble full which I was served anyway in a shot glass with no beans in it bad form for an Italian restaurant or any establishment) espresso was cold (not warm nor hot) and no customary lemon peel. Our other selections were served on a table which still had a bread basket, bread plates, empty cocktails, a plate of empty shells from the seafood fra diavolo, the dipping sauce for the bread and 2 empty salad plates. The server brought our desserts and merely reached over the discard pile. I requested they be removed and was told he’d be right back. Our check came amidst the dirty dishes and we were embarrassed that we had played up the restaurant as a must eat place but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. We have photos but would only post upon request. Here’s hoping they can regroup and return to the standards they have been known for.

UPDATED REVIEW 5 STARS NOW We returned to Casa Rustica last evening for dinner. After a disastrous experience on our last visit I can say with conviction that our dinner last night, from the greeting at the door to our very capable, knowledgeable and very personable server Allie, was back to the high standards that Casa Rustica is known for. The restaurant was quite busy even on a Thursday evening but we never felt rushed or overlooked. Allie (along with her trainee Ayana in tow) timed and delivered our cocktails and meal at just the right tempo allowing us time to enjoy each course. The food was hot, plentiful and most delicious. I have been in the hospitality industry for more years than I’d care to share (server, manager and front of house server trainer) so I appreciated that the staff worked the dining room as a unit. No one walked past a table without filling water glasses or removing empty dishes from any table whether it was their “station” or not. Kudos to staff and management in this area. It makes for a most enjoyable experience for all their guests. Yes every business and employee can have an “off night” but the owner/manager at Casa Rustica made sure to assure us that our visit from that week ago one would be at their customary standards and it most certainly was. Thank you to Christy (manager) Allie and Ayana (you are being trained by a true gem) for making our evening so enjoyable. We will be...

DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE! The one star is for the bread and butter that came "with the meal"after we had to ask for it. I eat Italian everywhere I go because, well I'm Italian. This was the most disgusting, over rated, over reviewed food ive ever eaten. Let's start at the beginning. It's in a log cabin that has no relative decor and from Wal-Mart. . no music of any type. There were so many tables crammed in to the rooms that you either bumped into them or had to ask them to slide in so you could get past. This translated into the loudest Italian dining experience I've ever had. My wife and I could barely hear each other, it sounded like a college cafeteria. The waiter, Ian, does not understand that great service leads to great tips. We sat down at 715 and ordered by 725. nothing but our water came in the next 15 mins. The antipasto we ordered had melon on it, never seen that before, a pile of canned green olives,a pile of red olives, 4 artichoke quarters, and a small pile of pimentos...they all looked and tasted like they were bought from Wal-Mart. Ian refilled our water only twice in 1.5 hours. Our salads came 10 mins after our antipasto. As we waited for our mea I finished my canned beer and placed the glass and can to the side of the table. It was never taken away even though Ian walked by several times. 3 different couples came, sat, were served and left before Ian finally came back and asked "do you want your food now?" I was dumbstruck. He said ok let me go "fire your plates up real quick." I'm assuming that meant microwave versus when he brought it to us 2 mins later, the top was steaming and the mushy noodles were near cold. How long they had sat there is beyond me. My seafood fra diavola had the following on it: 3 clams, 3 muscles, 3 shrimp, and 2 scallops.... I've had this plate many times under different names and they all came with at least double of each sea food. The pasta was so over cooked it was almost breaking apart. My wife's pesto Alfredo was so bland, cold, and mushy she didn't even ask for a to go box, leaving half of it behind. Her dish came with chicken but the amount of chicken on her plate was ridiculous. It was maybe the size of a tenderloin. Also, they told the table next to us that they would not be able to give them any wine for a while because all their glasses were dirty. Overall this was literally the worst "Italian" restaurant I've ever eaten at. A total...

We visited here for the first time ever and drove all the way from tn to try it for are anniversary and it took us a hour and half to get there but when we get there is a few things wrong and not what I would I expect from someone who presents themselves has high classes/fine dining

The Sever We had I didn't get his name but he just kept running around and didn't really want to be around us and he also complained that he had to wait on us because we was young

My food was good but my wife's shrimp scampini was ok but not to her liking unfortunately the shrimp was burnt and she just ate the noodles instead she didn't however like the stuff mushroom

The prices don't match the ones online before we got to the restaurant we wanted to make sure the know what we wanted incase we didn't like anything else the prices in the restaurant are higher then the ones online and half the stuff online isn't in the restaurant

The Sever took more money from me then he should have. The next morning I look to see if the money came out my account what should have been a even $80 was 80.59 so instead of taking what I left him he took another doller from me to give himself a even $8 to me personally after they way he acted I wasn't gonna leave him anything at all but my wife instead so I did

But after all was said and done i say we won't be back to this one wasn't really worth the trip and was a really big...
