Ice Skating Rink Roundup⛸️ | Must-Visit Spots in Boston This Winter

Please note that there is a 25 person limit on the rink due to covid. A new batch of skaters can enter every 2 hours. It would be advisable to get there about 20 to 25 minutes before the next opening to get a spot in the line. They count the first 25 people in line 15 minutes prior to the next time slot.

No admission and cheap rentals, this place is great for family outings on the budget They could use the Zamboni more often because the ice can get rather poor but it’s a public park so I guess that’s to be expected

If you're thinking of coming during school vacation week, please note that the rink is expected to be very busy.

During COVID-19 there have been some changes.

There is a strict limit of 25 people allowed inside the gate per session on a first come first serve basis.

The sessions begin at 12pm (except Saturday -2pm), 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. Once 25 people are inside the gate is shut and no admittance mid-session even if people leave, in order to reduce the amount of contact between guests and to be able to sanitize the chairs and bathrooms as well as Zamboni the ice between every 25 people.

A line starts forming on the sidewalk near the entrance. First 25 people in line will be admitted per session.

This is a FREE rink if you have your own skates (wicked cheap rentals also) and these are the rules the staff have been ordered to follow. Please be...

I recently visited Kelly Ice Skating Rink and had a mixed experience. The $5 rental fee for skates is very reasonable, making it accessible for everyone. However, the rental skates were extremely uncomfortable; I developed blisters within just 10 minutes, and many others around me faced the same issue, regardless of trying different pairs. On the positive side, the rink is located right by the orange line train station, Overall, while the price and location are great, I recommend bringing your own skates if possible or wear 3-4 pairs of long socks to avoid discomfort...

It's a small ice rink, but there is no entry fee, free parking, and skate rentals are cheap, $3. Its free if you bring your own skate. Skate rental due hurt the feet, but not all of them have tried different places they are a little better then some of the places i have been to. If you get cold theres a warm room and there are restrooms. Can get semi busy but family friendly. Might not be easy to spot due to its location but if you are around the area...
