Went in to deposit a check ,wow that's a tough one? I wrote on the check for deposit only.Have been with this bank for years.The middle eastern lady thought we wanted to cash the check and went and got her manager who explained to us that she would have to verify the check,I explained to her we just wanted to deposit the check and that's the reason we had a DEPOSIT SLIP with the check PLUS we wrote FOR DEPOSIT ONLY ON THE BACK OF THE CHECK! HUH DUH? The manager who was 25 yrs old apologizes, we also made a withdrawal and they had to go to Fort Knox for some cash . The older manager started to look worried.Also we wanted to order some checks,the lady said she wasn't able to do that and we would have to talk to a BANKER.She said it was a busy day( there was maybe 10 people in the bank on a Friday afternoon at 300pm! Every time I have been to this Branch everyone working there seems inept and not there but somewhere else,maybe back home in their home country. Talk about pass the buck! Read moreI had gotten a Cashiers check which I ended up not using during covid times as the payee was not accepting any new payments. So the check expired after and I called the BoFA to inquire as to how to get my money back. They told me that they cant do it on phone and I would have to visit the bank and they would do it. I went to this branch and told them I want to cancel my check and get my money back as the check had expired ( by one day) they said they could not do and asked helped from another lady; that lady said I should use the ATM and write cancel on check. Thankfully I did not use the ATM as when i called the 1-800 number again they told me i should definitely not put it in ATM and that would mean I wont even have the check with me and would cause even more delays getting money back. I went to BofA in LFP and they cancelled it for me without issue.
I am glad this branch is currently temporarily closed and hope this closes for ever as the tellers here would have made me...
Read moreVery dissatisfied with the customer service here. If possible, I will drive 15 minutes out of my way to go to the alderwood location so I can avoid the terrible customer service here. They don’t open right at 10, then when you walk in the tellers are still counting their cash, so you are still waiting. No one asked the clients how their day was, yikes... The last time I was in, the manager told me that the systems were down and there is nothing she can do as she is walking away from me. I was so appalled at the lack of concern and asked if there was someone I can talk to that isn’t going to walk away from me, she said sorry try calling another bank. I totally understand that systems fail, but to seem so uninterested in your clients not having access to their money as a bank employee is concerning.
