Recology Store — Local services in Bothell

I love this store. They sell great products for people who are trying to reduce their carbon footprint. Baby products, kitchen wares, cleaning products, beauty products, lots of stuff. They also sell bulk detergents and castille soap so bring your own container. Big selection of hydroflasks. Prices are comparable to amazon so I prefer to support this local business. You can also recyle styrofoam, light bulbs, electronics, etc. If you are not a bothell resident you have to pay a small fee. Totally worth it as my city doesnt...

A membership is required. If you don't have one, you'll have to pay. They will tell you how much it'll cost for your particular drop-off. For me, it should have been $12, but when I brought my items, they charged me $18. After I paid that, they removed the items that weren't accepted and advised me to dump them in the market's trash bins. I have a sick kid at home, so I'm not going to try to dispute it, but be aware of the situation...

Trying to set up service they take a week to get back to you just to give you the next steps. Then waiting again for another week. The drivers aren't picking up my trash. Phone calls are routed to an ANSWERING SERVICE. This is a monopoly, I can't choose anyone else. Terrible experience. Hopefully it gets solved this week.
