Anyone whose children are looking for an academically strong marine science and maritime focused centered curriculum could not find a better place to tour for their future college students. So impressed with the list of degree programs, and they are adding certifications and liscensing classes all the time. The campus is self contained, professionally managed but student led studies abound, and the upgraded buildings and design, plus the new facilities coming (plus a new amazing sea faring Vessel) are gorgeous and State of the art for students moving out into the real world. NCAA div 3 sports abound, and hopefully, they bring back the winter cycle to add even more, with training facilities any SEC team would be excited to use! The structure of the military type schedule is manageable without being overwhelming, and the students never need to worry about what to wear except on downtime. However, the leadership needs to be redefined, the prices at the school store are morbidly high, and they require you to wear things bought from the school store. You have to pay an extra couple hundred dollars for your graduation uniform, it is not included in the original sea bag that you pay for when you start.
