This is gonna be a bit of a long-winded review, but I honestly have nothing but good things to say about this shop! My artist, Micki, is an absolute gem. It almost felt like she could read my mind because the designs she drew for me were absolutely perfect. She was extremely tentative and precise. She moved the stencil around until it was in the absolute perfect spot, and double, triple, quadruple checked that I was 120% happy with the design before putting needle to skin. She’s really the perfect artist for anyone. Do you want to chat during your appointment? Micki will talk about almost anything! Would you prefer to stay silent and focus on the tattoo? Micki will focus on the piece, occasionally checking in to see how you’re feeling. Micki is extremely sweet and super fun to work with, I honestly can’t see myself going to any other artist. As for Diamond Mind itself, the shop is extremely clean and has such a fun vibe. There’s artwork literally everywhere, so when your artist digs into that particularly painful spot, you can just focus on a piece on the ceiling or the wall. It’s a cozy spot, and the energy there is so fun. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Tim and Heather, and they are genuinely such kind people. All of us chatted throughout the duration of the appointment, and there were lots of laughs! They offered drinks and snacks to each client there to help keep up blood sugar during the appointment. I cannot recommend this shop enough, Micki, the owners, and the other artists at DMT are extremely kind...

Diamond Mind is by far the best tattoo shop I've had the pleasure of visiting. Tim and Ethan are not only amazing artists, but they are great guys to boot. It's a pleasure spending time in the shop which has a funky, unique vibe, great music, and is clean and sanitary. They use top of the line equipment and treat each client as the individual that they are. The process of getting custom work done at Diamond Mind is best-in-class; the artists really listen to what you want, and they create something for you that is better than you could have imagined. Unless you have a custom piece of art that you worked up, and they are happy to translate it into a tattoo for you - either way, the experience guarantees you a 100% unique piece that you know will never be duplicated on someone else (by them anyways). I know quite a few people who go to Diamond Mind exclusively for work for all of these reasons and more. I'm proud to show off my Diamond Mind tats, and I'm always recommending these guys when people ask 'where should I get a tattoo?' A little backstory I am 61 years old. I went to college in the 80s. I learned that if you had more than three tattoos, you were a sociopath so I was not on the radar for a tattoo However, I recently went to my Thanksgiving family dinner and realized all of my nephews had tattoos and it was time for grandpa to step up! So I decided on an octopus because I am an admirer of this species and orange is my favorite color so I set about to make it happen. I went down to the store. I talked with Brendon. He drew up several options for me and I picked one that was amazing. All of them were amazing actually. But the one that I picked was outstanding. And he delivered an amazing tattoo I cannot say enough for his artwork and his patience with me. It was as I said my first tattoo, so it was a little bit more painful than I thought it was going to be and also I put it on the back of my right calf, which I understand is also a painful spot, but I am 100% satisfied with the artwork and with the job that he did and I would highly recommend this guy if you are going to get a tattoo, It was an amazing experience and the day after I had my octopus finished I went ahead and got my second tattoo!!
