ICHS administration intentionally screwed up students for this Capstone in the latest batch that took final exam on Jan 13th. See attached pictures for reference. they switched the weightage of the Final exam(Exam 2) to 75 percent and reduced weightage of Exam 1 to 20 percent plus no home work credit and only 5 percent for completing the modules. These weightages were vastly different than what ICHS had for all previous capstone classes as well other classes. Making the final exam at 75 percent weightage setup most students for this latest batch to not pass this class.. even if you complete all modules and get more that 90 percent score on your Exam 1 and for Exam 2 student still had to score very good to pass with overall 75 percent score. In addition to Exam 2 being so high weightage they also made Exam 2 very very hard , it was not purely ATI and was mix of HESI and ATI which was contrary to what teachers were telling everyone to practice on ATI based dynamic questions during the class semester. Why was this batch setup with this weightage what was the justification or reasoning behind it, it seems that all other classes were initially changed to this new weightage but later switched back before finals..why was this not done for the Capstone class. Had the weightage been kept same as previous batches most of the students would have passed rather than more than half the class failing. Who in ICHS is responsible for this gross blunder and how is ICHS administration going to resolve this mismanagement. They should take responsibility for this blunder and do something rather than forcing all these students to retake the whole semester again and pay ridiculous fees and waste another 3 months. The Capstone program director Gabriela Zakak should be ashamed of herself and resign of this gross incompetence. Maybe she doesn’t have any remorse and is the kind that enjoys other people’s suffering. Shame on her everyone in that administration. Warning to all incoming students and students that just enrolled in ICHS don’t waste your money and time with ICHS, go enroll in other schools in Florida who offer similar courses and have better reputation and competent management.

Getting into this school is pretty straightforward, but getting out? That’s a different story. Don’t count on a consistent experience here. One day you might face a custom test, and the next, it could be straight from ATI or HESI. It feels a bit like a gamble, who knows where luck will lead you? The best advice I can give is to study smart, not just hard, and take advantage of the resources available to you. The reality is, the teachers don’t always cover the material you need to succeed on the tests, so you’ll find yourself doing a lot of self-teaching. Be ready for that challenge. Honestly, if I had to choose, I wouldn’t recommend this school over a traditional in-person option. It’s crucial to understand your own learning style before you dive in; otherwise, you might be in for some unexpected hurdles. I had to retake the Capstone course a few times, but thankfully, I just passed the exit exam. I’m so relieved!

Please stay away from this institution. They are the most unprofessional and horrendous education establishment I have interacted with in my 25 years working with various colleges and schools in USA. I totally agree with reviews provided by Bob and Mirell regarding the way this college's administration handles the students, their studies, and play with students future. The have no compassion, no structure, no respect, its borderline harassments of students at the hands of the management and administration that operates this institution. I am going to share some points below: a) This batch was asked to sit for Capstone final at the ICHS campus rather than take remotely as proctored, which was not how they had administered for all the past batches. Me and my other colleagues thought this seems like good idea, we hoped that the college administration had a plan in place if any of the students couldn't pass that those students would perhaps be asked to remediate or retake exam again so help students that are on fringe for them to be able to pass, but no, it was another game or plan by the administration to harass students by having them travel all the way with no plan in place or compassion to help students that were 1% to 10% below passing, which for a 120+ question exam would be no more than 4 - 5 questions.. On of my family friend went to local SoCal Nursing school, that school was very transparent ahead of time, if a student failed within 5 percentage points, they would have those students take 8 hour remediation sessions on the topics that they scored lowest and thereafter would give them credits to pass, for any student with more than 5 percent and under 10 percent they would offer them to take a retest within 2 weeks by paying a small test retake fee. Why not ICHS had something like this planned, why were they not transparent ahead of time with students and communicated clearly that although we are asking you to come to Florida campus for test, if you don't pass there is no retake or remediation and you will not be allowed to take 'Exit' exam. Why students were kept in dark? I guess they are smart enough or really don't care for students time, emotions or money wastage.

b) Why is that after every semester finals they don't confirm final score right away, they always say give us couple days to finalize scores of the test and that we are checking in the backend to make sure that questions were not faulty... are the students guinea pigs for this administration's stupid games.. if they are not 100% sure themselves on their exam questions structure, content, or complexity why have the students go through a test that even thy don't have confidence in? There are obvious patterns here that either they are very incompetent. Very fishy and unprofessional, how can anyone trust them?

c) Two of my batchmates have 8 to 12 years of LVN practice experience, I was in disbelief to know that even they couldn't pass. It seems for this batch again almost half or more of the students couldn't pass. We are also consulting a local law firm in California, and they have partner law firm in Florida, we shared our experience and initial contract we signed with ICHS, upon quick review the attorney said that its obvious that ICHS is in breach of their own contract. They have advised as first step to submit complaint to Florida Commission of Independent Education as next steps and possible lawsuit thereafter.

Now ICHS will offer all failed students to enroll in next semester, waste their time and hard money again with no guidance or structure. Why not offer failed students to retake the exam, if you as institution are confident in your education that you provide why is this is not an option offered.. They will not because they just need to make their $2,500 per each student again, and this is their only agenda. They are a greedy business where I am sure everyone makes commissions on how much fees based revenue they can bring in by failing students.

Sorry for long review, but this greedy and shoddy intuition...

Horrible school. I wish I could give them negative zeros! All they care about is money! I wish I would’ve listened to the negative reviews because they are 100% true. They try to take credit for the students hard work because they don’t teach you a THING! All the professors do is read of a partial power point and the rest of the 1-2 hours of class is doing stupid questions, you literally self teach and they try to make it seem that they’re “passing rates” is all them lmaO! No study guides, no guidance at all with what to focus or study for your exams. For capstone, the worst semester of all! It’s supposed to be the easiest as it’s supposed to be a review of everything instead you’ll find your self lost . But no they had us do weekly quizzes that impacted our grades horribly, they switched us from HESI from ATI DAYS prior to our first weekly exam which HESI had been used for the entire year, which were extremely stressful and if you don’t pass them with a 75% or higher you had a 25 question remediation that did nothing to your grade. The instructors also admitted to making their own questions up for the exams and weekly quizzes and also pulling questions from Saunders, HESI & ATI platforms which made no damn sense! Which made it harder to keep up. So pretty much you’re busy studying all week long for these stupid weekly’s that would leave hardly any room to study for your first exam. After we took the exam more than half of the class failed it and we found out that we had hundreds of practice quizzes that were locked on ATI that the instructors could’ve informed us about and did not have available to us until after the first exam which was already half ways through the semester and our grades were already deeply impacted. After all of that mess we take the final and and barely the us any points after throwing out some questions may of us still didn’t pass theory capstone. The students that passed and moved forward to go the graded skills portion were failed by the rude and unprofessional clinical instructors so they had to either come back the next day or just be failed and not able to take the exit after traveling there. The students that passed were able to take the exit and only approximately 10 out of over 100 students passed so then the school started passing points like crazy to meet their metrics & cover themselves. A lot of us created a petition which had almost 1000 signatures requesting they adjust our grades to pass theory to which of course they ignored because they simply don’t care. They’ll dismiss you if you fail 2 or more classes, even if you I appeal with valid reasons, they will deny you due to previous class failings or previous (1-2) dismissals but other students with the same circumstances were able to be reinstated? They do not care if your father, mother or any family dies, or have health issues, or have any other challenging circumstances they show no empathy whatsoever and Dr. Ober will have a meeting with you, have you redo your appeal and some bogus assignment and give you false hope only to go M.I.A. and completely ignore you after approving you to be able to restart your capstone semester and then of course ignore you. For having such “Degrees” they are completely lacking common sense and empathy. I almost forgot, they also don’t round up your grades on the last bogus semester of capstone as they do in every previous semester which I’m assuming is to get more $ out of us if we don’t pass. Also the capstone instructors were horrible and disrespectful and you don’t even feel comfortable asking questions smh. Zakak will literally shut you up and dismiss you in lecture and in emails. If you decide to go here be prepared to even damn near quit your job or prepare to have your doctor take you off of work if possible the entire year if you even make it. Clinicals are even worse… there were some amazing instructors but the others along with the dean of clinicals “Dr. Palmer” are completely rude, unprofessional and will abuse...

What a sham this school is. For the latest batch of Capstone class they have outdone themselves again with their incompetency and blatant disregard of their students success. More than half the class was failed again this semester and most students who failed were mere 1% to 5% away from achieving 75% passing score which is ICHS's so called internal score baseline for ATI exams, this test was customized internally by their own staff with many layers of NGN questions and is not like a general comprehensive ATI you get with most of the other Nursing colleges in the country. Their 75% baseline is equal to getting 90% plus on Florida NCLEX. So Yes, they intentionally make test so hard that not many students can pass. What's more brazen abuse of the enrolled students is that this batch was asked to sit for Capstone finals in person while all the previous batches had taken Capstone finals remotely which were proctored. Students for this semester were asked to travel to school as 'must have' with plan for multiple days of staying there to complete skills classes and exit exam. So many students like myself spend thousands on airline tickets and AirBNB costs to come to school campus for Capstone finals, and as now we have not passed we have to go back and can't take exit exams to graduate. The AirBNB charges for remaining days are non-refundable and I have to end up paying for additionally I have to get a new flight ticket because the previous flight was few days out. Does this school not realize that money for students doesn't grow on trees, why had they asked for students for this semester to come in person for Capstone finals if they had no plans to help do remediation for students who could not pass(BTW even the reputable FSU couple cities down offers remediation but not ICHS). Do they realize that many students took non paid time off from their jobs to fly to Florida to take this Capstone finals in person. Who from ICHS management is accountable and responsible for this blunder and playing with students emotions and mental health, and negative financial impact. I saw many students crying and breaking down at the campus and begging management to work with them with options they can take, few students went to meet the management and the Assistant Dean Gabriella who thinks that she is God literally had a demeanor of eff you and we don't care about you or your well being, no accountability no empathy no process to handle students in a productive way or to work with them to succeed. As many other reviewers have already posted here, this school and its management is money hungry and raising tuition fees and charging students to retake classes is their only goal by running this school. For students that have failed Capstone finals are now going to be asked to reenroll into next semester and pay full tuition fee which is thousands of dollars to retake a semester and repeat the cycle again, why can't these failed students be worked with for remediation or have them retake tests again while they are at your campus, why reenroll them in 3 months semester again? This is sadly nothing but prying for more revenue by school management on poor souls who spent countless hours studying for this test while handling their personal commitments and day jobs and travelling by leaving their loved ones behind to take this test in person. Let this be warning to the management that Karma is a b.... be God fearing or he the Jesus Christ will serve hard justice one day to each and everyone who has caused this misery for hundreds of students. Me and couple of my batch mates are going to consult a very reputable Florida Law firm and discuss a lawsuit to bring justice to numerous students that have suffered mental trauma, depression, or un necessary financial expenses due to mismanagement by the ICHS and their...
