We went to this Wawa multiple times and the first few times were okay, I felt the atmosphere was very strange. We went there today to get two egg & cheese sandwiches and a strawberry smoothie. I received the food and the drink. The drink I got (I was not paying attention at first when I brought it to the car) was a Mango Pineapple Smoothie. The smoothie was for my girlfriend who is highly allergic to pineapple. She took a sip of the drink and had an allergic reaction. She then looked at the ticket on the side of her drink and told me very concerned, "There is pineapple in this", I looked over and looked at the drink and was like I did not order this, I ordered strawberry... I went back inside with the drink and my receipt. I went to the employee who made the smoothie and told her I ordered a Strawberry smoothie. The employee looked at the drink ticket on the drink and proceeded to say "No you did not" and started to read out the ticket. I politely stopped her and told her that is not what I ordered. She looked at my printed receipt for the order number. And she rudely told me to order a new smoothie, I asked to speak to a manager about this and she said the manager was not in at the moment. I annoyingly commented that there is no way possible there is no manager on site. I then decided to go to the front desk and sure enough the general manager was at the counter. I explained what just occurred and he made a comment that "that's not what the computer is saying"... I told him "why would I purchase a drink for my girlfriend who is highly allergic to pineapple which would harm her." The manager rudely told me to insert my card to refund the drink. I then ordered what I ordered before and went back to the car. We both then started to eat our sandwiches, there was a nice long piece of hair in my sandwich. I was completely frustrated at this point and just threw out my sandwich. My girlfriend's sandwich was missing cheese on an EGG AND CHEESE sandwich. Read moreSometimes I'm always about making great awesome comments about places but I've had a couple of issues with this particular Wawa. Today I came into this particular Wawa to get my cup of ice and water and to get a burrito bowl which consists of half black beans half rice lettuce tomato onions and grilled chicken. I've gotten this bowl before from two other Wawa's one on 45th Street and one on hypoluxo by far hypoluxo Wawa is the bomb! Everything that I've always gotten from them has been amazing to the T the employees are awesome they take care of you. Today I encountered an issue that I've already had an issue with in this store with a cup of ice that clearly states on the machine that it is a complimentary cup of ice with a purchase of a drink but I figured since I was going to be purchasing a food bowl that they wouldn't say anything like they usually don't say anything about. The lady at the counter was very nice she explained to me why they were doing that and all that good stuff understood. As I proceeded to go pick up my bowl and I received it the ball had basically no grilled chicken except for four pieces extremely minimal lettuce no onions except for maybe five and a couple of red diced tomatoes. I went up to the gentleman that made the ball and I said I know that that bowl doesn't look anything like the bowl that you guys have advertised can you at least put some onions extra onions and a little bit more red diced tomatoes cuz I didn't even look at the chicken until afterwards. Read moreThis location used to be really nice. I shopped here since the beginning the original staff when they first opened was much nicer and professional. As far as speaking to the customers the new manager, I believe his name is Carlos needs to be replaced immediately he is unprofessional, and after having a conversation with him is a borderline racist. I had an experience here with a customer who is known for being racist by what the cashier told me they allow him to continue to come in and make races rants towards customers That day I was one of his victims, and this man went off like crazy, and when I went to explain it to the manager, Carlos the first sentence I said he didn’t even let me finish. He said oh that wasn’t so bad after I mentioned I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau.
