I am born and raised in Palm Beach County and I know of all the Jamaican places. I had never heard of this one so I decided to order it for lunch one day. I got jerk chicken, rice & peas and cabbage. It’s a no for me. One positive I have is that the jerk seasoning is good! But it didn’t matter because the quality and preparation of the chicken is terrible. The cabbage was too hard for me, I know that’s a preference thing but I do think they should have steamed it at least a little bit longer. I got oxtail gravy on my rice and there was a little piece of oxtail so I got to taste it. That wasn’t bad but it definitely had that sweet oxtail taste, which I’m not a fan of. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and what keeps me coming back is consistency. Doesn’t matter if I hit up the Broward spot or swing by the Boynton Beach location—the flavor always shows up and shows out.
My go-to lineup: oxtail, peas and rice, and their brown stew fish. The oxtail is fall-off-the-bone tender, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and that brown stew fish? It deserves its own spotlight.
Flavors is that reliable, flavorful comfort food spot you can count on. Catch me there on a Tuesday—and probably every other day that...

I ordered lunch special with plantains, however, she made a big scene and raised her voice over 2-3 pieces dried, old plantains. It is not that serious. She always argues with customers over Pennies. She does not understand the value of catering to customers to keep them coming back.
She would rather lose a long time customer over Pennies and few pieces of plantains.
On the other hand, the younger girl there was very polite and professional. I always mind tipping (only) her extra for...
